Love them for their bakery. The best fresh breads, yummy donuts, cakes, and the best place to get cupcakes for any event or class birthday, plus their birthdays cakes are also the best & all in the best prices that you can get!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this Stop & Shop location. It’s a very clean store and the staff is so kind and friendly. The prices are amazing and they are always fully stocked. I always do my holiday food shopping at this store. This is definitely my favorite store when it comes to food shopping!

Well stocked... I couldn't find Tillamook ice cream in my area. I searched using Google maps "Tillamook ice cream near me" Union Tpke location had a wide variety of flavors! 🙌🙂 grateful 💯

Great store to shop in. Just a little pricey

I found the experience to be very good. I was able to buy all the items on my list and then some. The store is always clean well light and Customer Service outstanding. Kat helped me to get a Western Union money transfer. She gets a 5 star for exceptional performance!!!

The shelves were well stocked. The was clean and orderly.
I have had Giselle at checkout a few times now and she is super nice and helpful. It makes the experience that much better.

It's a decently sized supermarket with a wide variety. The remodel has added a good amount.

This location is the best I've been to in Queens. Excellent customer service, great selection. Everything is always in the right place.
They have an excellent organic/healthy aisle.
Their produce is always top notch.
Checkout is usually very fast, except during rush times and even then it's faster than other locations.
I go out of my way to get here, and it's totally worth it.
The last time I was there I needed help finding some items and they went above and beyond to help me. They were excited to help. Exactly how customer service should be. Bravo to their team! They've won a customer for life.

Loved how meat section is now behind doors. Very convenient. I usually do pickup or delivery from this store but went looking for some very specific things.....and got everything including my sugar free candy.

Friendliest staff ever! I walk down every aisle and the staff always asks how my day is. They always ask if I need anything, how can we help? I love it! They are so attentive. The seafood lady gave me two pieces of salmon for the price of one. The check out lady was so kind to put in her store card for me. The store itself is very clean and organized, prices are great. Great organic section also. Love that they have a starbucks and put out lots of samples to try, especially this cold season. Only grocery store I go to, they have it all!

Love this place! Its usually kinda busy during the day but later on the lines are ALOT smaller....cashiers are friendly in my experience. Note: if u have EBT the paper bags are FREE (otherwise I think its like 5 or 10 cents a bag. The bags don't have handles so carry them carefully! Unless u get the reusable bags then you're good to go! Parking is definitely easier in the evening as well. The lines go fairly smooth and pretty decent for the most part

Fabulous & friendly place to shop, totally love that store at union Turnpike in Queens, NYC. There produce section has the freshest everything. Deli department is very clean & the have a lot of selections, including the most yummy roasted chicken, fried chicken & ribs to say the least. Meat department is clean & the butcher is always ready to help. I can go on & on, but you have to visit this particular store to understand where am coming from. I promise you after visiting this particular store in 8989 Union Turnpike, Glendale, NY. 11385 you will never shop in any other S&S anywhere else. Point blank period!!!👍👍

I go way out of my way to shop here! There’s plenty of FREE onsite parking, and the aisles are wide so you don’t have to worry about running into someone coming the opposite way with a cart and having to decide who will turn around so you can both get out.

Prices are decent, make sure you have a rewards card! Produce selection is really great, too. Wait times at checkout aren’t usually so bad, but the lines get long on weekends mid-day. Expect to wait if you shop during this time.

The store is always very clean and neat. I’ve never had trouble finding anything.

When we (the person shopping with me and myself) were checking out the employee at the self checkouts was very helpful and had a good attitude, this kinda treatment along with how clean the store is and the freshness of the food makes the store feel like a place you can trust
