This place is really cool and a fun place to check out for Taiwanese goodies. They have a casual food bar as well that serves all three meals. They have happy hour on weekdays from 4-7pm where you can get a crispy chicken sandwich or burger with fries for $10. They have pizza by the slice ( whole ones available too) in addition to an ice cream bar. In the evenings, they also have deals on certain premade food options. There’s some casual seating that is heated outside of the grocery store that has self-service water. Dogs were allowed. The crispy chicken sandwich is so yummy and the seasoning used is on point. The mushroom pizza we got was good, but the sandwich was definitely the star.

One word: HAPPY-HOUR!
Their deals are incredible, a smash cheeseburger or chicken sandwich for $10?!
Dodgy right? Well it’s probably, I kid you not, the best burger and chicken sandwich I’ve had in LA !

The Taiwanese Breakfast Roll is a life changer! I didn’t know breakfast could be this good. A must try — all the pizza 🍕 is also next level. Especially the beef birria 🍕. Beer on tap and coffee is a huge plus!

A favorite of mine. Beautiful, thoughtfully crafted and big wide open space with indoor and outdoor dining.
Great staff. I love the groceries they carry along with the natural wine corner. There's an awesome book aisle as well.

This Asian grocery located in Venice beach, it’s very convenient for local people who live there, but if you really in to the asian market they don’t have full amounts of all ingredients and snacks! The market has been opened recently so probably they are working to upgrade their shelves! But the coffee section was very good, people worked there were so nice and friendly, the overall experience was good.

Fun neighborhood market & cafe with delicious food of all types of Asian and Asian fusion cuisine. Their bahn mi, bulgogi and vegetarian rice bowls, and unique pizzas with Asian flavors are all incredible! I go once/month and every time it’s so flavorful and unique.

They are also a speciality grocery store carrying all types of pantry essentials you can only find at Asian markets. They also carry a natural wine selection, and I love the touch of selling cooking accessories like Asian & LA cook books and aprons.

The staff have also been super friendly every time I’ve gone. I like their unique veranda-style seating area too. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

Nice little specialty grocery store / food market and place to eat. They have multiple specialty Asian food items including cooking supplies (e.g. vinegars) and snacks (e.g. international Lay’s potato chips). There is a pizza parlor in the back and they also have Vietnamese food items such as Banh mi sandwiches and Korean items such as bulgogi. They serve beer on tap from local craft breweries. The store is spacious and there is plenty of indoor seating at the front of the store with huge windows.

Great snack and drink selection with tons of grab and go meal options. I’m a huge fan of the fried mushroom banh mi, which to my bewilderment and delight had the crunch and sweetness of a savory churro. Despite having filled up happily on the banh mi, I also tried and enjoyed the ube ice cream at the recommendation of one of the staff members.

Place is so good it’s ridiculous. Factor in the price of the food and you probably can’t do much better anywhere in Los Angeles. All prepared food is next level. $6 side of beef bulgogi is so delicious and has to be the best deal anywhere in the city.

I love Banh mi and this was the best Banh mi sandwich I ever got. Everything we ordered was awesome really. Good stuff, guys! Cheers!

FattyMart has finally opened! WLA is lucky to have a cool place to shop, eat, and hang out, anchored by talented Taiwanese Chef David Kuo. Looking forward to seeing this market and food court take shape in the coming weeks and trying the unique foods that will introduced!

More deli than grocer for sure, but the food is amazing (Taiwanese breakfast roll + ice cream was fab), super reasonable prices great vibe. Will definitely be back

Great addition to the neighborhood. Have liked everything I’ve ordered so far.

Braised lotus root in the grab and go section has a nice flavor and crunchy texture, like a water chestnut. Veggie bimbimbap was really good too.

Cheese pizza is sliced nice and thin, is ready quick and fairly priced. Love that I can buy a croissant with just guava jelly, no cream cheese.

They have really good big fat avocados too, in the market section. Nice texture and flavor…mine took a few days to ripen in a paper bag.

what a fun/unique/cute experience. clean, nice space. so many amazing, curated, intentional products. wish i lived closer and could go all the time. yet to try the hot food but so great browsing the aisles and gettin so many high-quality, thoughtful items. will return!

Super cute Market with some interesting Chips. Bahn mi looks good (haven't tried it yet, got it to go. I birria pizza had flavor and it was a big slice for $5.50.

We’ve been here 4 times since FattyMart opened. Each time we go, it’s been great to discover the new products and menu items. Today’s top finds were Chinese sausage (pretty sure this is one of the few if not the only WLA places carrying it) and the delicious and smooth coffee!

As a Taiwanese person living close by, I LOVE THIS CONCEPT!

It's a really cool combo of Asian grocer, corner bodega and food hall vibes. I got a grab-and-go bulgogi rice plate today and excited to try it for dinner.

I just moved, and while there are tons of great Japanese grocers and restaurants in the area, I've been missing easy access to Chinese/Taiwanese ingredients. I found Little Fatty dumpings in the freezer, other Chinese/Taiwanese basis, and also harder-to-find items like century egg and salted duck egg.

Not all the shelves/freezers are full yet, but I can't wait for them to continue to expand their offerings. It would be so cool if they had Asian produce and veggies, I'd be shopping here every week!

Best kosher pizza in LA. The owner was super nice and even greeted my sister in law with a hug :)

Very friendly atmosphere. Place to grab a slice, ice cream, or a beer. Can even watch the game on the patio.
