Stop & Shop

This was the first time I’ve been in the store since the Coronavirus changed all of our shopping habits. They now stock all kinds of hand sanitizers and the shelves looked full of everything you might possibly need. I was impressed by how every customer was wearing a mask and how careful people are being. The store’s management is encouraging only one member of each family to be in the store and I felt confident that virtually all of the customers are adhering to these smart rules.

Always have fresh food and it is always clean. Workers are very helpful and curtious. I love to shop at stop and shop at cross county center

This might be one of the largest and cleanest Stop & Shop supermarket’s! I love coming here for their beautiful produce as well as the convenience ( especially when I’m having my car serviced). It is always a good shopping experience at Stop and Shop and food is fresh and good. The store is very bright and aisles are wide. They have Boar's Head cold cuts and a decent assortment of eating cheeses. You're going to pay a big more here, but you get what you pay for. Self service check out can be a challenge at times.

The aisles are well stocked and it's easy to find what you need. I love the self check out because it moves fast. There are lots of registers and only one line.

Recently, some of the shelves have been a little sparse. But, they don't usually stay that way for long.

Found everything today. No sparse shelves.

The best organic fruits and organic food!!! I recently purchased a container of organic grapes 🍇 and it was soooooooo delicious that I ate the entire container of grapes 🍇 in one sitting. Of course I cleaned them first and then I ate them. 😂 I’m a vegan so that was my breakfast. It was so delicious. Stop and Shop had the best organic fruits!!! Thank you Stop and Shop

The workers are very friendly. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh and presented as you walk in. Delicious!!!

Easterchester is better, but the cross county store has more variety for baby or toddler food selection. 🤔

I have no problem with this establishment........ shopping here for over 30 years.

I would like to bring attention to an outstanding employee at the Yonkers Stop and Shop. Her name is Katrina, and while I was in the store I witnessed her going above and beyond to help customers while at the customer service area. She was not only very professional and polite, but also extremely empathetic and considerate. People like her make it a pleasure to shop, for she exudes true sincerity and a commitment of caring concern.

I'm an older gentleman, and I do all my grocery shopping at this location, between 7:30am-8:00am, there is an overnight crew Manager by the name of Oz Perez, and his assistant Galen. Both Oz and Galen go above and beyond in servicing me, specifically with assisting me in finding items that are not stocked. They both on many occasions have gone to the trucks and unloaded skids of food items that I need on my shopping trip. They are both very polite and attentive to my shopping needs. In today's current climate, customer service is non-existent, but not for Oz and Galen, they are both exemplary, employees of Stop & Shop and they deserve to be recognized for their service. I hope that Stop & Shop corporate office will share this review with them and are recognized for their outstanding service.

This location has good inventory, is clean, and is pleasant looking. The self checkout system is glitchy. I'm sure they're losing more in theft, and frustration than they are saving with automation.

Update: They still have self checkout, but they have plenty of people at other checkout lanes too.

Great sales ... My neighborhood store. I visit every week. Milk, fruit and bread are always fresh and stocked often. Prices are competitive but one can stock up on good sales every week. The meat and fish departments are great. Lately the produce department is not fairing well. Lots of semi empty shelves. Prices higher than usual.

This Stop & Shop has the best chicken salad I’ve ever had in my 30 years on this earth.
I’ve been buying it for years and the recipe hasn’t changed. So either they have the same person making it or they’re doing some damn good training. I’ve tried other S&S but it just isn’t the same. So great job in the Deli! I’ll keep coming back if not for anything else that chicken salad!

Love that they have a variety food. Hot salad bar.

I love stop and shop but today really busy

I love the fact that Stop&Shop has a shopping device that allows you to scan and bag your items at the same time. It also shows the amount you are spending and, if you have coupons, they get applied automatically if you have the Stop&Shop savings card. Great tool when you are on a food budget. Highly recommend Stop & Shop.
