Compton's Market

I'll stop here before I go anywhere else. Even though it's a small store, they usually have everything I'm looking for. And usually I find something new!
The employees are awesome. Love this store!

Great store. They have all sorts of hard to find things and really aren't overpriced. Fantastic wine selection. Fun to just go in and look at what they have.

Stopped in to get a bottle of water while on a walk. It was my first time in the store. Large alcoholic beverages section with a diverse offering. Compton's had a good selection of bottled water. The store was clean and the staff were all very friendly.

What more is there to say about Comptons that hasn't been said? I used to live in their neighborhood and miss it so. Meat dept, deli and cheese selection is choice.

My buddy owns this place, he has done so many updates and upgrades. It's an amazing store in a perfect location!

Great local grocery. Although not as big as Safeway or Nugget they carry everything. Sandwiches and cookies are good. Staff always helpful and pleasant.

We love Compton's! Such a great market for the neighborhood. Now with a full bar and a Pizza Hut, what will they think of next?!?

Probably the best hidden gem I've been to. Very easy shopping experience and an awesome Cafe inside. The chicken bacon avocado is my favorite! I really admire how this Compton's Market really emphasis on stocking the local businesses products and the staff has always been amazing!

I love Comptons it has a wonderful deli, freshly prepared meals, great craft beers, coffee stop. Fair prices Neighborhood friendly!!

Always friendly service. Neighborhood market that has all the necessities and even things you didn't know you wanted. ;-) The deli is a gem, the selection of fresh breads is great, and they have pies from Freeport Bakery. Those are just the features I'm most familiar with.

I love this place. They're a little expensive because they are more of a convenience market. But they have a great selection and their deli items are delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff is always warm and welcoming and go out of their way to help you with anything you need!

Fantastic neighborhood market; my first choice for last minute items. Terrific selection of items and fair prices with one caveat...I'm not a price shopper but Compton's prices always seem reasonable and in keeping with larger markets and the produce section is small. Nice deli counter and really nice, neighborhood taproom with a good selection of beers on tap. Oh yeah, forgot to mention their beer selection! Very extensive with most of the major microbrews for a small market!

It's a good local neighborhood market to stop off on the way home if you need to pick up a few higher quality items. They have a great deli, produce, lots of wines, greener household products, better baked goods. Even a nice cafe in the store that serves excellent burgers. And the tandoori chicken and other Indian cuisine in the deli make a tasty take-home meal. We like this market a lot.

Overall totally cute and worth it. That said, a little crowded, narrow aisles, most expensive prices in town, not a full selection of everything but good selection of gourmet foods. Go for the definitely-not-a-supermarket atmosphere. The produce section is particularly pretty and the grocers are very friendly and professional.

Love this place!! Within walking distance of my house. Great selection of things you won't find everywhere! Local homegrown vendors, fresh made deli sandwiches and food, coffee, and desserts as well as Gunther's ice cream. Willie's Cafe and bar inside is a great addition for a little treat after a long week as well as a great selection of beers in the market! I'm addicted to the rice krispie bars at the register!!

Favorite neighborhood market. nice selection of produce, local beer and snack items. Easy place to pop into to grab the basics. Willys Cafe with the bar and deli counter is a nice addition.
I also ran into Clare from The Bachelorette here so that was exciting.
The firecracker snack mix is bomb.

I make the extra effort to get our "Willie Bird" here every year as Compton's is a little out of the way for me. But it is well worth it!

I really enjoyed shopping there today. Such excellent products & top notch customer service. The chicken cutlet Parmigiano I got from the deli dept was delicious!

Very nice IGA nestled into the heart of East Sacramento. Has everything you need plus a little pub called Willy's. Good menu.

Couldn't ask for more.

Nice little neighborhood store. Good place to get lottery tickets when the big store machines break down. Usually only a couple people in the store are not too busy.

Wonderful, convenient neighborhood grocery that offers fresh produce, organic and natural products that include food. beverages and specialty items. Also wonderful Deli with seating for in-side dining. Excellent customer service. 👌
