Dollar General

Last night, 2/17 at 8:30pm, we went to the Dollar General in Salado for last minute items. The store was so clean, well lit and organized. The young lady who was working was so kind and helpful. Just as we were having an issue w the self checkout she came over immediately and took care of us. She was friendly and patient. Most people you must track down for help but this young lady was amazing. Whomever she was she deserves a raise!

I forgot some items from the check out and a young female worker working in the morning of Sunday 5th of March went out into the parking lot to get me and hand me my items an amazing employee for sure! Didn’t get a name sadly but will be back often! Her name is Chloe M. Amazing employee!

Don't be fooled by the entitled jerks with low reviews. This is a general store in a small town. It staffs 2 employees most of the time, which is expected "in these unprecedented trying times" or whatever.

The staff is kind. The selection is good. The parking lot is kept quite clean and it's still just a little general store in a small town. Working as intended.

Great new store. The location is in a unique spot but I think the commercial business will grow.
Employees are just getting adjusted but all were friendly.

It iscso great to have this nice, clean store in Salado. Excellent selection of items from food, cleaning supplies, and pet items.

This is a new store in our small town. Lots of things to choose from and stocking up on snacks after our week plus of being snowed in. The only down side was that there was only one cashier and the store was pretty busy.

Everything was clean and employees were helpful. Usually well stocked.

The store is always understaffed and the isles are so full of boxes and carts that it makes using a walker almost impossible. The store is not always clean, they have cardboard and paper towels pressed against leaking refrigerator units and under shelves, at one point they had a bucket of water from a leak coming from the ceiling. The "Assistant Manager" has a horrible attitude and argues with customers over misplaced item's pricing. If this wasn't the only convenient place to go that didn't charge ridiculous prices for simple grocery items I would not shop with them.
