The cakes are so good, the store itself is actually pretty small compared to Walmart or HEB. It’s more of like a small country town type of grocery store and I loved it. The atmosphere made me happy, like I was back in Piggly Wiggly grocery shopping with my grandma in South Carolina. Everyone that worked there was so nice. And completely understanding of the fact that my daughter decided to scream her head off in the store because she couldn’t get what she was grabbing.

They have so many different items, you won’t find anywhere else. The employees are helpful, kind and hard working.

The floral department did a awesome job on our wedding flowers! The flowers were beautiful and the bouquets and table centerpieces turned out great! We highly recommend them!

Awesome store we visited while in Salado. I had read they had the Vollermans milk so I made a trip from Killeen to check it out and get some local milk in glass bottles and it did not disappoint. If tour in the area you need to stop and buy some! They have some great flavors and it's a must. I am not a milk drinker at all but the chocolate was amazing.

This is my first time calling pharmacy Salado Texas, I decided to go to Salado because the pharmacy lady at the one in Moody Texas is VERY rude…. So I hope that I can make this my store from now on.. crossing my fingers.. The pharmacy lady in Salado Texas was very nice and treated me with kindness and respect.. Thank you so much…It really makes a difference when your sick and get treated so nicely..

Came from Copperas Cove to Salado to get some Albert's Famous Hot Sauce because the web site said it was stocked here. Sadly it was not but that didn't stop Trisha from helping us try and find it. She offered the best customer service we have seen in a long time. Definitely keep her, she is the best you have! Thank you TrishA

Love this store! Wonderful hot food deli with mouth-watering homestyle chicken pot pies, delicious red snapper fillets, a variety of chicken choices, great daily plate specials, and best of all, friendly employees who appreciate your business. The best Brookshire Brothers I've ever been to.
