The Salado General Store is conveniently located on Main Street and right next to the brewery on the creek with plenty of outdoor space for kids. It’s a one stop shop that has something for everyone in the family.

We went here when we visited Salado and I realized I forgot my shoes at home. (I only had my high heels lol) I found awesome sneakers and the cutest cowboy boot match holder! Unfortunately we didn't get any candy during our trip, but they had a great selection! We will be coming back with our 4 year old when we can!

It's no longer Sugar Shack much to our dismay, but they have alot to choose from still!

Visited the general store while in Salado, One stop place for everything you need within the Salado area. Open until 8pm.
Parking is located opposite to store entrance with wheelchair accessible parking.

They have ice cream store &clothing store located within the store. (Attached pics) #HappyShopping

Stopped in for a quick birthday present. THEY HAD SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM, wide variety of items for all ages!! The candy was awesome, the candles smelt heavenly and the clothes... oh don't get me started!! GREAT PLACE TO SHOP & even better they are open on a Monday!!

Amazing customer service, variety of items - something for everyone, fully stocked candy and Blue Bell ice cream! LOVE this place! Perfect location too - close to the creek and other businesses downtown.

Sugar Shack has changed into Salado General Store. BUT they still have lots of candy and, now, so much more. 👍🏽👍🏽

Enjoyed the experience here. Nice atmosphere. Lots to see in there. If you enjoy nostalgic candy, check them out. There's also toys, ice cream and so much more!!

Super cute stuff but the kids working in there had zero customer service. Many people ended up leaving without buying bc the two working were playing tag in the store and throwing merchandise at each other. Was willing to buy several clothimg items and chocolate buycouldn't get them to pay attention so we left empty handed.
