Love this place so much! I would recommend checking it out!
This shop used to be in Taylor and I'd go all the time because it was one of my favorite clothes stores, but now in Salado this place has upgraded and is even more beautiful than before with a mixture of cute clothes, jewlery and decorative household items! There are several rooms with different colors and classy styles. I stopped by for the first time since they moved and was shocked! Had to share with y'all photos of what it looks like inside! So nice and worth the drive.

So cute! Whenever I have family come into town I take them to MAKS because they have something for everyone. Home decor, women's & men's clothing, bath products, jewelry, toddler clothing, and baby gifts. The women who work there are always super friendly and helpful as well. :)

A collection of merchants in a lovely vintage house in Salado Texas. This house has been several different businesses over the years and almost every one has been on my list of favorite shops in town. Maks Mercantile may be the best one yet! We visited a couple of weeks ago, on the day of their soft opening, and tomorrow (8.13.22) they will celebrate their Grand Opening! We loved just about everything we saw that first day, so I simply can't wait to see how this fab business grows and becomes another of my favorites shops! Welcome to Salado, Maks Mercantile - good to have ya!

Not great customer service, the two women behind the counter were too busy talking about their children and air travel to acknowledge me. A simple hello would have been nice-doesn’t make me want to ever come back.
