Great variety of supplies for knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Lots of different textures and colored yarns at a reasonable price. Loved it!

This one at the waterfront seems to have a good selection of yarns, paints, frames and canvas. The clearance isle is always overflowing. People in Pittsburgh aren't crafty. We just pretend and forget. So there is always a huge selection of things down there.

I recently brought in diploma frame that was sliding in its frame. After meeting with Ed in the framing department he assured me that he would get it fixed. Not only did he repair the framing he adjusted the back to wire hanging to make it easier to display in our home. He also had me bring in the other diploma we had done at the same time to readjust and ensure it wouldn’t do the same. Ed was quick, communicative, and extremely kind. I would 100% recommend Ed in the Michaels framing department if you need a job done right!

I have to say I have never been in a Michaels store anywhere that was as clean and as well organized as the one in Pittsburgh at the Waterfront!!! Mind you, this was on Black Friday at 9:30p.m -they were open until 10:00 pm. There was nothing just laying on floor or messy shelves. I was a little upset because we got there so late. I am in an electronic wheelchair so do not move fast, and we were only customers in store. The gentleman that was there by the name of of Patrick was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed. He told us to take our time. I am sure he was looking forward to closing store and heading home. I headed to back of store for some yarn. I finally found what I was looking for. Then moved toward Christmas items. By this time it was almost ten, Patrick asked if he could help up find something. We asked if he wanted us to checkout and he said no take as long as you want. We went thru Christmas items and found what we wanted. It was now after ten and I forgot I needed to look for one more item. I found it and finally got to checkout about 10:15. Patrick asked if we found everything and I replied probably not. He said let me know when done. We said it was after 10:00 and he said don't worry about it. We said we could come back and had him check us out. Never once did he seem mad or upset that we kept him after closing. I will definitely go back to that Michaels again‼‼. Thank you Michaels for having such a dedicated and pleasant employee. I hope he has a very joyous Christmas (holiday) Season. Please if you are at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh stop and visit this store.

Michael’s is great. I can always find good deals here. Today I got paint pens, spray paint, stencils, shirts, and more. We made some shirts for a party. You can use fabric spray paint but regular spray paint works well too. The gold metallic paint pens are great. Make sure you get the metallic ones. Got really good deals on soft shirts. Oh. And glow sticks. We got glow sticks. So much stuff here for parties.

Went to get my daughter beads for the jewelry she makes and discovered they have shirts for cheap that I can use for work. Like $4 each cheap. Only other place you'll find this pricing is online and in bulk orders. I'll be here often!

Nice, clean store. Easy to navigate. Friendly and helpful staff. The only issue I have with Michael's is with the whole company, not any store in particular and that is that they give you these fantastic -sounding coupons off any full-price items, but then like everything in the store is, like, 5% off already so your coupon is actually not worth anything.

Michael's is always an adventure. I went to get supplies for painting miniatures, and left with exactly what I needed, plus a few things to help.

The aisles are clearly marked, the place is organized, and I LOVEEE the clearance shelves! Not to mention the constant 20% off and reward earning in the app.

This particular Michael's is one of my favorite locations because of its location but I don't think I've been in one I've disliked.

My day was truly made last week. As some of you know teachers pay for most of their classroom materials. I was checking out for materials for my classroom and the cashier asked if I was a teacher. I responded yes. She proceeded to tell me that the manager put together a big bag of goodies for a teacher for their students. The cashier gave me this bag for free. Thank you to the cashier and manager for donating to my classroom and absolutely making my day! 😊

Such a fun place! And I got the help I needed when I had a question about yarn. Good selection of knitting supplies at reasonable prices. Prices seem to vary a lot. Some things, like art paper, is not that cheap. You have to look around. But if you want to make something 'crafty' this is the place to go!

I love this store.. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. In my last experience the cashier paid attention to my items. We discussed why I was purchasing the items. She then informed me of some equipment that I needed were on sale for great price. I was very happy and even though I wasn't planning make a large but i did.

There are super interesting things sold here. Everything you need to develop your creativity and manifest it. The prices can be better, but you can find items on very attractive sales. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The cashier even included a cupon in our purchase which we were not aware of but applied an extra 20% discount on top of the items on sale we bought.
