Eclectic little neighborhood grocery with unique and normal items, a long with a good array of plants. Small and cozy but has everything you’d need. Big fan of the bad wife and staff is very friendly. 5/5, I go there often

One of longest operating fruit and vegetable shops in Park Slope, the owners Mr. and Mrs. Lee are wonderful people who know their customers well. The store is packed with all items you need and want, including the best fruits and vegetables in the city. This is the definition of local good.

All their products are nice and the people their really will help you. By far the best grocery store in the neighborhood. If your looking for some Asian products you can find them here.

Ive been going to the bad wife since it was a single storefront called the green market (soooo happy for the owners that theyve been able to expand and grow as business has improved over the years). Its park slope prices so its not cheap of course but the range of stuff they have and all the beautiful and delicious novelty/unique products make shopping here have a dually practical and exciting experience. I love coming here always!

I don't know what I would do without this small but mighty store. It has all the staples I need so it's super convenient for me to run over if I've forgotten something (like an onion, lemon, parsley, etc.). The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the produce is excellent. I once saw a staff member going through the boxes of cherry tomatoes to throw out the bad ones!

They also have a very nicely curated selection of Asian ingredients and specialty products that you might not find at a typical supermarket (Tiger Sugar boba popsicles, anyone?). It's family-run from what I can tell, so I have the impression that everything is hand-selected and "vetted" by the family that runs this place.

I've usually been able to find what I need, although the other day I had trouble finding dried anchovies for making dukbokki (Korean rice cakes), which surprised me because this place stocks frozen rice cakes. That said, the staff did their best to try to help me find what I needed, even going downstairs to ask the boss.

Besides groceries, I've also gotten planters and flowers here. And I never enter or leave without ogling the plants outside the shop.

I've been going here for...15 years now? Wow. In that time I've always found the shop to have everything I need from a neighborhood small grocer, including specialty items, and over the years they've added a few items like some meats, that mean it can serve many of my needs in between trips to a larger market. In particular, I appreciate the home-made kimchee and other items, and the thoughtfulness and kindness of the owners and staff who are great.

Great produce - I can always find broccolini, bok choy, and napa cabbage here! They also have a nice selection of asian pantry staples - soy sauce, miso, gochujang, etc. Owners and employees are very kind.

Absoulte gem of a specialty and everyday market in Park Slope. They carry the best national and artisinal Asian food labels including Korean, Japanese, Chinese and SE Asian cuisines. I found both Korean and Chinese black bean sauce here at very reasonable prices. They are better known for their local Park Slope food which is highly artisinal and what might explain other reviewers complaints of high prices but the prices are lower than Union Market and the products are all organic and health oriented. (C'mon, this is Park Slope, how many mom and pops are left at these rents?)

Love this place. They have all kinds of exotic foods that are tough to find other places, as well as good fruits and veggies, and lovely plants and flowers. Highly recommend.

Nicest people in tbe world. Reliably ripe produce. Interesting selection of unusual brands, asian and otherwise. Classic rock playing at all times. Great selection of flowers suitable for any apology or occasion.

The owner treats customers like friends, and he values quality products. This is a good place to buy flowers and plants in addition to gourmet groceries.

Go to neighborhood grocery store for a good variety of produce, Bread Alone breads, craft beer, wide selection of canned goods/jar, and beautiful healthy plants!

This is where we go for reliably good produce and high quality everything--including the plants, which are first quality and not the gonna-die-tomorrow plants one tends to find in deli's along 7th Ave.

Great convenient shop with a good selection of Japanese ingredients. A much much better option then the 'grocery locomotive' one block away.
