Union Market

Picked up a few staples and the produce section had fresh options, which I thoroughly appreciated. There is a butcher available to provide freshly cut meat, and a pre-made food section for those on the go!

Love this local market. The sound of jazz playing and the smell of all the fresh
food wants me to get cooking.

While you dodge fake "emotional support" dogs in the aisles, you can make your way to the best rotisserie chicken you can get in a supermarket.

Gormet everything..yes, at gormet prices. But they have items that are not so easy to find...like a good offering of seasonal mushrooms, a large cheese department, and a pretty good selection of organic produce. They have often sold out rotisserie chicken and a fish department, including sushi. What they do not have is pet foods and a pretty meager supply of items like paper towels. They also started a delivery service durjng the pandemic that is great.

A lot of good stuff packed into a not-so-spacious store. Always has good produce, baked goods and breads, seafood and meats. They carry some of the better brands. Their own brand of EVOO is very good and reasonably priced.

Busy place but has a lot of yummy foods. The prepared foods are good quality, variety and tasty. Nice quick stop.

I am impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of this grocery store. It adds to a pleasant shopping atmosphere.

Best market in this part of the neighborhood when purchasing nicer products and specialty items. Much more animal product heavy (meats&cheeses) than other stores in the area, so it doesn’t carry as many vegan and vegetarian options as you might find just a couple blocks in any other direction. Also has a good selection of premade meals and baked goods, particularly cakes. I enjoy their small canned alcoholic drink and beer options, too. My only complaint is that they don’t carry cilantro for some reason.

Great grocery store, friendly staff.

Great selection of top-line merchandise, from fresh produce (with a few exotic choices) to fresh meat, cheese and prepared foods. Generally, pricing is in keeping with quality. The only exception I've noticed is in the flower section, where the flowers usually look like they're already over the hill but the prices are high. Well, plenty of other choice on 7th Avenue!
Otherwise, it's my go-to for excellent produce and prepared foods and desserts.

I love Union Market! Mist notably for their customer.service and good quality food. A bit more expensive than other other markets, but their service, attention to food industry detail and quality in most other areas outweighs any and all reservations.
Once I encountered a somewhat rude employee at the bakery and gingerly mentioned the matter to the store manager and his impression, from my perspective, was pleasingly professional and made me feel valued as a customer.
In every way, I am grateful for Union Markets and I reccomend them to everyone I know!
Hopefully, they will open another location in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.

Fabulous small chain of local food stores. Fine goods, organics and beautiful produce. Get their salt and pepper rotisserie chicken for dinner - the prepared foods are generally a great way to have a good meal. We love their butcher counter (real live butcher!) and their coffee blends (Park Slope or Prospect Park are my favorites).

A really good selection of quality food. Fresh produce, breads, cheeses, antipasti, lots of organic stuff. They also sell cakes which is great if you forgot a birthday and bakeries are already closed. Prices are usually fair but some products are extremely overpriced, so check the tag.

Excellent selection of seafood, including salmon and scallops. The quality of products is high and the staff are generally great. Very expensive, but this is to be expected from the high street grocery store.

The "Prepared" Food is Marvelous! All the employees are professional and exceptional. They even remember your name! Win u don't feel like cooking, go around the corner and get the best Food Ever in a Super "Union" Market"!!

Excellent organic local market. Smaller version of WF. Beautiful produce, super prime meats, delicious artisanal rotisserie chickens and the most amazing chocolate bread. Truly addicting! Customer service is five star worthy!!

Great affordable line of "house" brand coffees roasted by the terrific Unique Coffee Roasting Co. of Staten Island. Full 1 lb. bags, not 12oz, fresh & high.quality.

Quick in and out, and found parking right in front of front door. Lots of stuff for a small place. Some items didn't have prices. So we had to ask. But the friendly employee found it right away and provided it. Clean place.

Union Market has been in the neighborhood for a very long time and they do not rest on their laurels. It's an excellent supermarket, with a lot of high end items and a wonderful, helpful staff.
