Big 5 Sporting Goods

My son wanted black basketball-style shorts and it is almost winter. We found several pairs to choose from different brands. I like this Big5 although it is smaller, their customer service is friendlier than the larger stores. It looks well stocked for the upcoming holidays for anything sports related. I even saw my next swim goggle.

The store is clean and the people are nice and helpful. I needed to go back and exchange something and they made it easy.

The customer service at this location was exceptional. I've gone to other locations and been ignored by staff. Not here. Great service delivery team.

This place is somehow able to alter the space-time continuum and fit more stuff in the small store than you could imagine. It's like one of those smaller hardware stores that seem to have everything you need. The employees are friendly and helpful but mostly leave you alone if you need to wander a bit. Prices are reasonable and they regularly offer very useful “$10 off $30” coupons.

Well the Big 5 in Redwood City is gone. I found the one in Menlo Park. Had the Timex Roman I was looking for. Once again, a sporting store that has what you need I'd wonderful. Great people working there too!

The staff were very helpful in finding what I needed, especially during the whole lockdown situation. Their selection is what you expect from an all-purpose store focused on many outdoor activities. Not everything is quality but there are many diamond In the roughs.

This is a well-stocked store with friendly and helpful staff. It's location makes for an easy and safe parking situation.

This store carries all the usual sports gear, clothing, shoes, some boating accessories, weightlifting equipment, fishing gear and ammunition. They sell some rifles but no pistols, other than ones that are air or CO2 propelled.

This store resides along El Camino Real, in Menlo Park. It is in a small strip mall and not readily visible from the road. You have to keep an eye out for it.

Great sporting store really,from guns all the way down to crossbows they have em (don't forget the sweet nice low shoe prices)

Can't wait to peruse the useful goods here. The tactical watch seems quite nice. The batteries do to.

Nice prices and easy parking. You can usually find your shoes at a great price. Customers feel right at home at this neighborhood store.

Great place to shop for adventure and althletic stuff.
Golf carry bags. Tennis shoes , track and soccer shoes . Badmitten games
Lacross. Baseball & tennis . You name it. They have it. Clothing and socks and hats too. #1 for great prices too.

They had run out of what we needed. But props to the friendly staff who recommended other places to try, along with letting me know it's better to call in and see if they got it before making a trip, along with reserving it ahead of time, since what we wanted was in high demand. Thanks!

Been going to this Big 5 for...long, long time. Use to buy my hunting stuff. Shoes, vests, ammo, even reloading back in the day. Now I go just to look at all the new nifty stuff.

Good place 4 finding brand name items. Knowledgeable staff. Always offer coupons so try to have one with u. If they don't have your size, they will call other branches.

Always have what we need and are open until (reasonably late)! Prices are comparable to online stores and service is good. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
