Walgreens

I have been shopping at this Walgreens for years. Customer service is excellent and store is clean and stocked. One employee that stands out to me is Christopher. I believe he's a manager and I know why! Walgreen's got lucky on him. He's always at work and everytime I see him he's working hard . Extremely happy and polite to everyone. I've seen some pretty irate customers go off on him for not accepting expired coupons or not being able to sell them alcohol without an I D. and he always handles it with poise. In this day and age, it's hard to find good workers like that. Keep up the good work young man!

This pharmacy has proven to provide the absolute best service over the years time and time again. Due to an issue with our insurance, we were force to switch from Walgreeen's a few years ago. We tried two different pharmacies during that time and they paled in comparison to Walgreen's. The pharmacists and staff at this Walgreen's in particular have always been exceptionally helpful.

I got my flu shot here the other day.

Service was just fine. Everything was in order. I did not complete the beforehand paperwork but I still managed to be in and out in under 20 minutes.

My doctor received the information, and I have no complaints.

Very helpful. The pharmacist completed what the prospect location told me was impossible. Not my 1st screw up from Prospect. Many times my refills are not submitted, resulting in a round robin of calls back and forth with my doctor. Come on Prospect check which employees either don’t know how or don’t want to do their jobs.

Very slow at checking people out.

Starting a few months ago they changed their pharmacy hours. They’re no longer open on the weekends. I have a busy work schedule and the weekends are the times I can run errands like picking up a prescription at the pharmacy. It blows my mind that a pharmacy would be closed on the weekend. Have to switch to a new pharmacy now.
Other than that, generally the people who work here are super nice. So it’s unfortunate that I have to change.
Separately, I see a lot of reviews mention that they’re slow, but honestly I’ve never been to a pharmacy that is “fast”. There are a lot of customers who come in and had their prescription sent 1 hour before. That’s an unrealistic expectation. It takes TIME people! And a 15 minute wait is doable and I think their hours are fine.
Please just be open on the weekends!

Doesn't matter when your doctor sends in RX. You pull up and you'll still have to wait another 30 min. Pharmacy staff is generally unfriendly, not rude, but not exactly friendly either.
