Mike in grills is one of the best folks you can ever work with. I walked in asking for a 20 dollar grill part, he was all over the request and called 4 different stores to make sure he can get the part for me. Barbecue saved thanks to Bob & Mikeeeeee!!!!

Anyone reading this and planning to experience great CS, Dep heads that, for those shoppers that need help, are qualified to provide knowledge from experience. Oh and on the condition of the store, It is the only hardware store that has a bathroom cleaner than some motels.

Its not all sunshine and rainbows. Retail prices are substantially higher, also when considering higher quality inventory. I will continue buy a $20 screwdrive set over the $10 Chinese knockoff on Amazon.

Why you ask? Well imo my grand children will ask me what it was like going to the "store" and how customer service was not infact help forums-chat bots and AI generated CSR's (that is it we are even using a phone to place a call anymore)

Another Ace hardware came up for review and I thought I was rating this one.. anyway,I got some keys made by Nathan..he was very nice..I enjoyed talking to him as keys were being made..great customer service Nathan!!

I bought 3 items and could not find one of them when I got home. I called the store, but the item wasn't left there. I was told that I could come in and they would just replace the item. So nice! I did find the item (my dad moved it). THIS is what a local hardware store will do for you. A box store will not give you this kind of service. Always kind, always helpful!

I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t get the man’s name but he’s an older gentleman who helped me find a fix for the top handle of my mother-in-laws crockpot that she accidentally melted. I was so happy to have found someone right away who could help me. He quickly grabbed a handle option and even recommended another store, an appliance store, that might have the exact handle. Love this kind of service.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff are always ready to help. The store is well stocked and clean. This is the only place left where you can get specific screws, bolts and nuts in small quantities.

Salesman directed me to automotive from paints and found me exactly what I needed for front door job. Never would have found what I needed without his help. Job went perfect.

Staff here tried very hard to solve the problem, but just did not have the plumbing washer gasket and hardware for this strange fixture... But they gave it the best shoot. Great people and service. Lots of stuff .. just not these strange parts

Small building, but they still seem to have everything you need! Merchandise is typically easy to find, and the staff is very friendly and helpful if you cannot find it. The parking lot is big enough that there are always several spots open, so that's never a problem. The only time I've ever had a long wait in checkout was because another customer was being difficult and not a problem with the staff.

This has been my go to ACE for decades and the staff has always been helpful. They are doing a great job of helping find items during their remodel. From what I heard, the remodel will be a nice improvement.

Customer service goes the extra mile to make sure that you get what you need. The prices are comparable to the larger stores, but easier to navigate.

I bought a window well cover yesterday and returned later on to see if they can drill some holes in it,. Mr. Steve Cesario and helper, Mr. Tom (X), were quick to handle my request, even though they were not obliged to do so. Both of them were most gracious and happy to help. Steve drilled the holes and I was able to finish of the job with much more ease, thanks to these two gentlemen.
I thought they did an outstanding job and makes me want to come back for all my household needs.

At 1st I hated this store it was very expensive and the employees Are conceded, But now since the chain was sold, The prices dropped and now the employs welcome you into the store when you walk and and are very helpful now. That is great news because being from California we are so happy out in California and now Naperville is starting to be happy to Maybe they need to smoke a joint to relax and have fun
