Very friendly staff and helped me to get the most out of my rewards and points I really appreciate the extra effort to make it happen for me. How much more of an investment a company makes with these great people who work there.

Walked into my favorite 7/11 In West Haven on sawmill Road

It’s always friendly love the staff but there is one girl working the morning
8 AM shift Always has a very bad attitude.
I nicely Asked why the espresso machine was still down after four days of me going in there it still saying it Has to be cleaned she said :
“I don’t know I just got here “
so then I asked her if she could clean the machine for me so I can get espresso. She replied : “it’ll take 15 minutes before it is cleaned. “
I then stated “it Might as well get cleaned anyway” (which is the truth.)
She then turned and looked at me and aggressively said: “don’t, don’t… “.
If you are from where I’m from you know when someone looks at you like that and tells you don’t that means don’t try me
I smiled said God bless you you may go on about your way and I was very uncomfortable. The entire time I then asked asked for the corporate number I was told the manager comes in at three, so I was denied the corporate number as well.

Otherwise, the place is amazing love the coffee love the people just some glitches in the chain that needs to be straightened out.

So far so good; it's opening day so everything is clean and new. The Loredo Taco and ROOST Chicken & Biscuits gets you fed. This place is so needed. The convenient store in the next plaza is horrible.

Awesome nice big place!! Places to sit ! There is coffee etc here and a taco place !! I think it's a taco place lol !!! Gas prices are good seeing its right by the highway and CT has zone pricing !! Meaning the closer to a highway the more a place can charge !! Watch the prices at gas stations I am not kidding about this

I had to give a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for now, only cause it's a new store, Me & my husband couldn't wait for it to finally open, & since it finally open we been in a few times, & a few times the Roost wasn't open when we stopped by before work at 5:30 am Due to short staff as they said, So we figure we will give some time cause seems like their still working the kinks out as being a new store & all, We went in to try again at roost this morning after 5:30am & finally
it was opened, We wanted the chicken & biscuit & we got 4 of them The one issues we do have that their really going to have a problem about is their attitudes & not at all customer oriented & very friendly & that's with the girl who took my order at roost this morning & also the cashier's when I went to the counter to pay, With the girl at Roost she did not once say hi how your doing I just told her what I wanted, & I was standing in front the whole time & when my food was done she just placed my bag with my chicken & biscuit's instead of telling me it was done or handing it to me but it was just sitting their on the counter & didn't even tell me it was there or it was done or have a great day & the other lady who was a black lady that was not the same lady but she at least spoke to me & asked if this was my order that was sitting here I didn't even get a thank you or have a great day from the other white lady that took my order & it made me think & feel that the lady who originally took my order had some sort of rasist issues, cause I am white & my husband is black & you can tell by the stares from the time we walked in the store until the time we left, & the same thing from the cashier's at the register, if this place is going to make it they need to have better customer service & know how to respectfully talk to people especially if you work in customer service or there's going to be a whole lot of angry & dissatisfied customers, & you will loose a lot of business. I only
gave 5 stars cause it's a new store I will give some time & then go back & change my star & review after giving some time to work out their adjustments.

Updated as the store has finally opened!

Beautiful addition to a busy stretch of West Haven just off the highway. Both in-store restaurants are pretty good - Raise the Roost has excellent chicken; Laredo makes a damn good taco. The rest is a pretty standard 7-Eleven with all the things you need at any hour of the night. HUGE gas station in front makes the ride to work a bit easier in the AM. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Had an issue with my order with Rooster 🐓. The manager, Wuanita, had problem solved the issue, and replaced my order with freshly cooked fried crispy chicken. The mac& cheese out of this world, biscuit of the hook, and customer service was the highlights of the entire interactions, and Effective communication skills set. If I had a business, Wuanita will be the one I will recommend.

This 7-11 is Brand new. It has tons of gas pumps, more than I've ever seen at 1 gas station. In addition to that, the coffee and the donuts/pastries are Always fresh. And to top it all off the employees here are amazingly nice and friendly! Good job 7-11

New favorite pit stop for fill up and snacks when traveling down the I-95 corridor.
