Goodwill Store: Commerce

This store is beautiful. It has a LOT of brand-new and gently used items. I usually find a great bargain here.

They also have a drive-through donation on the side of the building.

The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I was able to donate over 20 bins of gently used clothes and kids kids' toys.

I had a wonderful time here, pokin' around the thrifty retro goodies that are stocked here. They have a healthy mix of new and also useful items that are at a very nice price. I, myself, picked up a few tops, some Timberland boots, and some gardening supplies for the warmer weather.
Denise at the register was quite warm in her interactions with myself and anyone else I caught wind of. She was happy to explain the sales they have there regularly, and answer any and all questions I had. Even a teeny bit of small-talk as she rang up my selections. I hope to see her again, the next time I'm stopping through!

Great place to shop for those fun items. The staff are wonderful and knowledgable. The items are replenished often and marked appropriately.

Very clean, very well organized! Great deals as many thrift stores have raised their prices. (There are orange tag items that have a premium price). Still great deals! Bought a beautiful Marc Andrew silk dress. Almost new! Nice home Decor too! Very friendly staff. Still can’t use dressing rooms (due to Covid?) that’s what the signs say-Also, Weds is 20% off if you are 55 or older. Definitely take advantage of this place!

Well sorted, adequately staffed, friendly manager? Somewhat overpriced on the plastic baubles that turned out to be broken, but I suppose I should have known better. Overall a fine experience and they didn't over police my kids like some salvation armies tend to

Mary B. Is the best cashier someone could ask for when shopping anywhere. I hope goodwill is treating her well, because people like this are great assets. I don’t get the pleasure to do business with someone like this often. She is the type of person who can get her job done very efficiently and be personable and knowledgeable at the same time. Joseph and Darleen have helped me numerous times in taking donations. They all work hard, and I commend each of them for carrying on and doing a great job during COVID-19. It can't be easy doing their jobs, especially right now, but they are all very kind and helpful. Also, I have shopped here multiple times, and I appreciate the care with which they organize the goods. It's always fun to find good bargains. Thank you for providing an important service that supports the community!

I am reading some of the comments, and I can tell you the staff are great, Iv been a loyal customer since they opened the store in commerce, and never had issue with the employee they are always saying hi, how can I help you.. I mean they are nice, and I remember their names, Esteelie, Gayle, Elizabeth, tiffany, Gaylord, and Mary they all are nice very professional, and always helping me out to get my stuff. I gave them A+++++I shop everyday there, and she prices went down I can tell, and i love it, because this mean I get to shop more. :)

Very friendly and compassionate staff. I watched them handle a pricing dispute with great skill and to the satisfaction of all parties.

Mary Angela and Stellie work up front and I have been going there since they opened. I love this place: organized, clean, and the best prices for the cool goods!! You need to go today- they close donations an hour before store, but drop off and gets points for your shopping-trip.

This is my favorite Goodwill's to visit, Always a great time. Super Cool Staff ;) You never know what you'll find. Always something new every visit. Very clean and well organized. You will not be disappointed. (Ps Love the computer speakers ) Thanks!

Be sure you understand what the hours of operation are -- specifically when they will receive donations or you will be greatly disappointed. You also have to unload and sort your things yourself. If you have a heart to give, do it. Don't let a little inconvenience stand in the way. Pleasant woman overseeing the sorting and handing out the slips.

Such a nice staff! Prices are a little high, but they have good finds! Really organized, and clean. Nicest one I've been too so far!

Great place. Many good finds. Probably the best Goodwill in the Detroit area. The only downside is that like all other Goodwills they are putting up more items online and less amazing deals make the store floor, however, they have a lot of donations and there are always new quality items available.

Absolutely love this store! The employees have a great vibe as soon as you enter the door and management is very nice, love the lady with the long silver hair.
