Amazing clean hardware store. They have anything you need at this location. I needed spray paint for a project and they had it. The staff are very nice and the speed of the check out is really fast. It’s nice and organized so that it’s easy to find stuff. I recommend.

I used to think ACE was overpriced, and for some items it can be, however what West Salem ACE has that the big box stores have lost is an abundance of helpful staff! If you're working on a home project, and are not sure what your next step should be, there are tons of experienced helpful people eager to advise you in the right direction and steer you away from wasting time and money. I've come to realize, it costs a little extra to keep that much help on stand-by.

Wow! I was really impressed with this store. I've lived in the neighborhood for a while now and hadn't given them much thought. I recently went in the other day looking for a new houseplant. I was relieved to see that they have great locally grown plants. The store was especially clean, extremely well organized and easy to navigate. While exploring I found this store fully stocked with a great selection of several price points. They had plenty of knowledgeable staff in the store and all of them seemed genuinely glad to see me shopping there and went out of their way to be sure customers received a friendly invitation to ask questions if needed. The staff made direct eye contact and gave me and others in the store their undivided attention and by that I mean say that the staff wasn't letting people stand around... No one was zipping by saying "someone will be right with you".

In all was really impressed and recommend you stop in and give them the opportunity to show you that you are truly valued in their store!

This is the best hardware store around! It really is the helpful place! The staff work together as a team to answer my sometimes oddball questions. The store is laid out well with all of the essentials.

Great layout, very clean, large inventory and Wonderful Staff. Stop by here before heading over to the big box stores and you just may save yourself some gas and time.

Store employees are always very helpful and exceedingly nice. I always go there first whenever I need to go to the hardware store. I also like that they have Dots snacks in stock for when I need some munchies on the job.

Ace truly is the helpful place! They always have someone who asks how they can help and go above and beyond even to help fix my power wheelchair more than once by getting the right size bolts and screws and helping in getting them put on correctly.

Great place to grab quick home repair supplies on the West side. Appreciate that they are well staffed and ready to help. Also appreciate there flower choices when in season.

My 3rd visit to this location. Every time I have visited, I have been impressed! Staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. Ive had help finding specific screws, as well as making cooies of keys. Staff finds me before i even realize that I need help! Store is clean, and well stocked. Greatful to have this store in West Salem!

West Salem Ace truly is the "helpful hardware place". Everytime I go to West Salem Ace I am asked multiple times if I need assistance. They may not *always* carry what I need but I would say 9/10 times they do. The prices are fair. The best part of the store is the helpful employees.
My only wish is that they carried Fox Farms products.

We had a wonderful experience! Don, the gentleman who helped us is fantastic! He helped us with our new electric lawn mower purchase. Also Ryan and Issac helped load our truck with the mower and compost and garden soil. They are always happy to help us when we go here.

You might pay a tiny bit more than going to the big box stores. However, they more than make up for it with friendly customer service.
