Safeway

Actually I went to lots of Safeway in United State America. But this Safe is the best. I really like here. Crews are nice. A lots of selections. Prices are mostly reasonable and good. Oh.! Public restrooms are so clean and nice. Very neat and organized store.!! I really like here.!!

The only Safeway in the Keizer area. It is not the biggest but they have most of the essential supplies and many more. The staff at the checkout are very helpful. They have displayed supreme patience with people in the self checkout counter having scanning issues every 5mins

They also have a Starbucks inside. And the grocery store coffee section has their products as well.

OMG....I just got Blessed with a turkey and a hug!!! I missed the sale and they had 3 turkey's. I told the gal, I just burried my Grandson and couldn't hold back my tears, when her and another manager came up behind me and said we'd like to gift you with a turkey, Happy Thanksgiving. I think their names were Brittany and Michael. I call them my Guardian Angels. Thank You so much you guys. Then the cashier shared with me ,he too lost his son and said he's sorry about my loss. We both shared they are in a better place, no more pain or suffering. I believe we do get sent Guardian Angels, to help ease the pain. I have been paying it forward and will continue to do so. Be Blessed everyone and watch for your Angels.

I've shopped at this location for decades, always clean, always well-staffed. Prices are on the higher side unless you use their app/member savings. Best french bread in town!

Their clearance rack is a must-check each time!

I did a grocery pickup yesterday evening. I believe his name was Anthony, he brought our groceries to my car. My 2 daughters were saying hi to him as he loaded my groceries into my trunk and he was so nice and friendly. My 6 year old said “mom, that was a really great man!” as we drove away. He was so kind, friendly, and professional!

Love this store, always so clean and they have great digital coupons.
There is a super nice lady in the floral department that's always ready to help.
Wish I knew her name, she's a short lady with glasses. Amazing and friendly.

I think I am here almost daily. All the staff I have met are super nice and always take time to help if I have questions or can’t find a product. Brenda in customer service is an amazing sweet lady, and Matt in pharmacy always goes above and beyond to help or answers questions about my medications. I highly recommend this Safeway over any other in Salem. The other employees that I have met and see often are also very nice and always helpful. They have a great security team there as well.

If I can't find a food item at the nearest grocery stores, I always give Safeway a try and I find it there every time. Remember pancake syrup in glass bottles that were a little more expensive but they were soooo good and flavored strawberry, blueberry, boysenberry? I never see them anymore but I went to Safeway to see if they had any and now I have happy pancakes! Ty, Safeway!

Safeway has amazing produce and great meat products. It's always fresh and good quality. They have done some remodeling during the last year & they also have new and improved self check out registers.

2 pm on a Friday. A good number of customers milling around but plenty of registers to handle us all, no waiting in line at all. Clean, well stocked produce with a smiley face multi-color pepper display, I just don't see this stuff at the budget stores lol. (I LOVE my budget stores !) Sales galore, I wanted to pick up turkey for a dinner and it was a comparable price with my card to any other chain. Great store.

I just received 5 star customer service from Yan, who was stocking shelves and not necessarily a front end employee, but he went out of the way when I needed one more 24 ok Arrowhead water to get the $$ deal. And Melissa was very friendly and fun to chat with during check-out while being swift at the same time. There were a lot of shelves empty of product but they seemed be working hard to get them filled. Store was clean.

Woodburn Safeway is fantastic. They always have products stocked and the store is always clean and their staff is amazing always friendly and helpful

I was doing my shopping and errands today. I stopped by the bank and withdrew some money and continued to Safeway on River Road. I was tired and not paying attention due to working 58 hours last week. I had put the envelope with the money in my vest pocket and when I answered a phone call it fell out of my vest without me noticing it was gone. I finished my shopping and continued home. After putting everything away I fell asleep in my chair for a while. When I awoke I realized I needed to put the money away and reached for my vest. It was not in the pocket and not to be found. I resigned myself to the fact that I had lost it and no one else was to blame. I called the store and was surprised to find out it was turned in to customer service. I returned to the store and was told that a courtesy clerk named Matt had found the envelope and turned it in. I pulled out some of the money and put a message on the envelope to thank Matt for his honesty and his reward was inside. Then I spoke with Jessica and explained what had happened and to please give the envelope to Matt along with my thanks.

I love Safeway compared to the other grocery stores that we have available. Their produce is always fresh. The employees are happy, they just seem like they enjoy their jobs more and I have a good shopping experience at Safeway unlike a lot of the other grocery stores where I feel like I'm cattle being herded through and rushed right out the door. I also like the pastries and bakery at Safeway it seem to have one of the better ones in town. I recommend Safeway over any other grocery store I've been to here
