Mountain Food Products

I've been coming here since I was a kid and I'm 49 years old. This is a great place to get fresh produce, niche items made by mountain artisans and just a good place to walk around and look at all the wares, flowers and even check out DJ's pickles! These are hardworking folks and you can get much more healthy items for the same price or not much more as you would find at a regular grocery store and you're supporting truly local businesses. The weather may not have been great, but stopping here did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning.

We shop here often when in Asheville. They have a comprehensive spice section as well as reasonably priced bulk cheese.

Helpful and friendly staff at this business. They almost always have what we're looking for and the produce is top notch. In the event that any product may be subpar, they're really good about exchanging for a better product. Only have had to do this once in dealing with them. Good records too, with receipts supplied with each and every transaction. The warehouse has a good vibe too, with all employees being cheerful and helpful. The funky music they play is helpful in getting a good start to the day. Would reccomend to anyone looking for quality produce.

Asheville farmers market is great anytime of year. Always make a stop when I'm in the area.

Most of the food is prepared from scratch. Much of it was prepared as most of the southern dishes are.
