Green's Grocery

This is the cutest little grocery store! It smells amazing when you walk in the door. Delicious hot foods and local artisan breads and goodies. They make take home dinners etc here too. The people are super sweet.

Such a gem in Gainesville. Our favorite place for the best steaks, chops, and chicken. Also great fresh produce, including the best fresh tomatoes in town, combined with tons of gluten free accompaniments such as awesome sweets, and great frozen vegetables. Combine all that with the long-standing favorites such as their homemade chicken salad and pimento cheese, and you have our favorite spot for groceries.

Have heard nothing but good things about the food you can order to go and man were they right!! We stopped in on a Saturday for the first time to give it a try. We got pork chops and three sides and it was amazing. Price of it wasn’t bad either.

I don't think 5 stars is enough to express how amazing this place is. We got all premade food and I cannot tell you how good it was. Grilled pork chops that just fall off the bone, smoked chicken salad that will have your mouth watering, a squash casserole that could out-do anyone's grandmama's Thanksgiving recipe. You name it and they will do it better. Do not hesitate to check them out!

I feel like I am going back in time when I visit Greens. Such friendly and helpful staff in a calm and peaceful shopping environment and the deli cranks out some really amazing food and sandwiches. One of the last mom and pop grocery stores in our region. I love it! ❤

Love the store made chicken salad and pimento cheese. Best steaks!! And the pre-wrapped single servings of warm salmon and veggies are a favorite for quick lunch.

Green's Grocery is smaller staple of Gainesville. While its not the flashiest or largest establishment, the quality of product and customer service can't be matched. They feature more local speciality items, and their butcher was as skilled as I was hoping. I ended up with 5 lbs of Tri-tip steak, and the cuts were quite nice after it was all said and done.
Remember, when you receive quality service, you'll want to pay premium prices. With the support of the local community, Green's Grocery continues to thrive.

BEST GROCERY STORE EVER! THE CHICKEN SALAD!!!!

A real throw back to the grocery stores 50 to 60 years ago. The sack lunches are epic good. The sides are crazy good. The meat department counter has to be seen to be believed. You must go.

Love Big Ed and he’s got the best stuff for men to Batchelor when the gals go out. Don’t get the caramel pound cake though.... their not worth the ride all the way from Cumming (but Coal Mountain a definite yes!)

A treasure of Hall County! A wonderful little mom and pop store that sells 99% local goods. Their brown bag lunch special is great to grab on a nice day for an impromptu picnic at one of the local parks.

LOCAL! I say this loudly because that’s what they sell here, as much as possible the owner/manager stocks the shelves with local product. Free Range eggs from local farms, milk from a local dairy, and even local bread. Many, many, many things sold here are local but also some normal items here and there. The butchers desk in the back sells superb cuts and has a great hot bar for ready to eat foods. They even sell local dog treats sourced right here in Gainesville GA. All natural and most important these local products help the community grow and small businesses thrive. This is what makes America great folks! Come check it out.

Wonderfully amazing chicken salad and hummus!! Chicken is smoked on location and you can taste the care put into it.
