Jack's Variety & Laundromat

It was always a pleasure to shop at Jack's Variety! I really miss going there to be greeted with the utmost respect by Harry and always getting everything I needed in an instant. Plus always being welcome to take a seat and play keno anytime from the time they open till the time they closed was very convenient!

Jack's variety roc's Vernon street,it's the cleanest store in the City,product ,glass the whole store cleanest.And the owners very very respectfully too every customer? They will get in there store what ever you are looking for ?really caring people who own the store check em out worth the trip ?Other markets should take Notice Jack's the Best.... P. S. They up grading the laundry with new machines They Rock...

Well this year they replaced him with an Indian guy he is so very very nice and he is not like that at all he helps you out and if you dont have enugh money for something he will give it to you and he'll tell you that you can repay him some other day . I think he is fantastic although I'm not the type of Pearson who will take the stuff and repay after some people fo it so I think for you are those people then you are good.

Harry is the best. if they don't carry a item you can tell him and he will do his best to stock it in the store for u.thank you

I go in all the time never had a problem and I'm Hispanic I doubt race is an issue the owner is very well mannered and his Cashier is very friendly !

Very friendly and 95% of the time they have what i need so i dont have to run to a grocery store for 1 thing

Jack's is one of those neighborhood corner stores that has been a landmark on this side of the hill for many many years. It's a one stop shop for everything from candy and cigarettes to Keno and laundry. You can have a bag of chips with a soda while you try your luck with the lottery and wait for you clothes to dry in their on-site laundromat.
The prices are a little higher than most in the neighborhood, but they're the only laundry close by.
Their employees are always cheerful and warm. Really down-to-earth people.
But, the store owners leave something to be desired. Normally they don't speak to the customer, and if they do it's usually rushed and impolite.

This is a typical neighbor convenience store with all the normal stuff including a decent ice cream selection and a surprisingly nice Spanish section. Unfortunately, it is quite dingy.

I would have given them 2 stars except they have the best selection of instant Fufu in all of Worcester. Of the three brands they stock, I recommend 'Mama's Best Fufu Mix', it has the most plantain.

If you have trouble finding the Fufu ask the cashier

I've never had a problem with them. I play my # there sometimes. In and out. No problem.

The attached laundry is in spotty repair but very cheap. Just watch out which dryers actually get warm.

They r so racist went in with change one day, the next time i had bills the owner looked at me n said "oh u have money"! Its like wow! He snatched it out my hand too he is very rude n he does overcharge! Ad for the person that said he never had a problem is becsuse "ya"! Look at urself in the mirror. Know u know y!?

Horrible customer service. Got robbed out of my quarters and had a car full of wet clothes after. Instead of refunding or helping they said I would have to spend more quarters. Made me late to work! I would go almost every week but not anymore. All they see is $. Disgusting people and they’re store selection is a**. Would not recommend. Suds is way more spacious and has much greater service.
