Tony was a wonderful customer service representative. I was lost and he stop what he was doing to walk me to what I was seeking. He was very polite. I get lost In stores finding the things I want. Id called him a angel ! . Thanks for such amazing staff. Keep up good work Waterloo Akron Giant eagle

Clean establishment offering many grocery items from fresh fruits, veggies, cold, frozen items, hot foods, seafoods, meats, cheeses, desserts and more! Floral dept. Liquor store, wines, beers and many other spirits to choose from! Friendly staff. Perishable and non perishable items. Lottery ticket sales and service. Good customer services. Hook yourself up with their membership card, it's free and you can start saving even more so! Highly recommend this location to others. My favorite Giant Eagle store in Akron. Absolutely LOVE Giant Eagle!! By far the freshest produce and best bakery around!! Looking forward to checking out the deli section next time I visit… time for some homemade cold-cuts!!

Favorite grocery store. They carry boca burgers and Walden farms which are my favorite brands so that's great. Plus they have killer weekly savings and coupons. Moving here from az, I lost my favorite grocery stores but giant eagle. Quickly replaced them all!

Ran in to the floral department, the lady working was so helpful, nice, smiling, and went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted. She boxed it with tissue paper and made it so nice. She didn't have to do that. But was fantastic, she didn't mind doing her job and went beyond what she had to do. I thank her so much, if there were more people like that in the work place/in the world, it would be a better place.

This is the more ratchet Giant Eagle. Great bathrooms, nobody bothers you for hours.

I really had a nice time. I got day old hamburger buns. Some o will use now and the others I will freeze. Also I got some great chocolate chip cookies. I got a small bottle of egg nog that I'll use in my coffee tomorrow morning, so much cheaper than Starbucks. Also, I won $100 in their lotto machine. And they gave me a $2 off the roasted chicken I bought. A nice shopping experience.

I know Giant Eagle can be a bit more expensive than Walmart, but the employees are nicer. The shopping experience is better. If you need employee assistance, there is always one available and they aren't that hard to find. Groceries are in stock. Not a bunch of empty shelves. And one more very important thing about Giant Eagle is their pharmacy. The medications you need are in stock. I'd rather pay a little more and have the stuff I need in stock. And not everything is more expensive. They have a lot of good deals on meat and they have a real meat department unlike Walmart, who ships their meat in. I quit shopping at Walmart in November of 2022 and I'll never go back. Giant Eagle is my new one stop shop for groceries and medications.

Friendly and quick are the employees... when they wanna be. The person who was my cashier took her time and was grumbling about something the whole time.

It's not as spectacular as a Market District, but living near this store has been great! The Bakery has the best special order cakes in town and the meat department has fabulous red meat deals. And the staff at the Sushi stand are tremendous!! You'll find me in the store every Wednesday and Sunday for the $5 Sushi deals!!! They just need to put more wasabi and pickled ginger in their packets! Love ya though!!

Wide selection, I found everything I was looking for, except the Giant Eagle 100 percent whole wheat bread
. I know it's popular and hard to keep in stock, however they need to figure something out.

Giant Eagle is one of my favorite stores to shop for groceries. I would say if they could do one thing it would be consistency. I can find some things at one that I can't find at the other and that is just annoying.

The friendly staff is always willing to help. I've been coming to this GE for over 15 years and have had maybe three issues. I usually save with perk points about $1000.00 per year. The pharmacy staff are great. They are always willing to answer any questions we have.
