Came in today to get some bait and got so much more. Jake was awesome, helpful and very knowledgeable on everything from rods and etc. would definitely come back very friendly and helpful staff all around also the store was very clean and organized.

A very well stocked store with an absolute bevy of varieties of brands and color choices of almost every popular lure or tackle choice you can imagine! The staff is willing to lend a hand, and the prices are very appealing! Almost every major manufacturer of rod and reel can be found among their isles and glass displays showing you exactly what you want or could want later! I highly suggest giving it a try before your next fishing outing on both Salt or Fresh water ventures! 5/5!

Great customer service and really knowledgeable employees who don’t mind helping out. Also only bait shop I can find Googan Baits. So if you a bass fisherman or even saltwater fishing this is hands down the one stop shop great experience and reasonable prices with great Variety awesome place

They have everything you need for fishing in the Tampa Bay, Tarpon Springs area. The people working there are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Came in to ask for directions for a place to buy dry ice while on the road for hours, the lad at the counter was extremely helpful to search up locations and write their contact down. Ended up buying a shirt as a souvenir too. (can't remember the lovely chap's name-- approximately 11am on a Sunday morning on April 2nd). Love from Singapore!

Salt or Fresh water fishing? This place has everything. Bait, lures, hardware, rods, reels, equipment, hats, shirts, reel repair, line spooling and more. Even if you are just kickin' tires, plan about an hour. It's a beast.

Very helpful staff that provided multiple options to fix my reel. Could have tried to sell me a replacement but I really appreciate their thinking of me and not themselves. I highly recommend this center for a wide variety of tackle and a trustworthy and knowledgeable staff.

Always a great experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. Went in today to buy a new rod and reel. Guy helped me find a combo and was very knowledgeable and respectful of my budget. He worked with me to get me a great deal that worked for both parties. Since I bought the combo, he also spooled the reel free of charge. I highly recommend asking for Guy the next time you are in the store.

This is by far the most helpful place when it comes to fishing whether your a beginner or more advanced. They will always offer sound advice and answer any questions you have. They’ve got a huge selection and great customer service . If I owned a similar shop I would want my staff to be like the people working here. They give you very detailed information in regards to products so you know what you’re getting into.

I first shopped at the St Pete bait and tackle store on 4th St back in the early 2000’s. It was a little shop where Noble Crust is now. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They built a beautiful new signature store on 4th St closer to downtown. Great place for everything related to fishing.

We moved and I just found the Tarpon Outfitters shop on US 19. Found out, same owners as St Pete. This is now my new favorite fishing shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Alex set me up with 3 very nice offshore rod and reel combo’s. I originally intended to go in and buy my son a graduation present 🎁 and ended up buying my Father’s Day present 🎁 too. LOL.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tarpon Fishing Outfitters to purchase some inshore fishing gear. I found their selection of gear to be well above average with a fantastic selection of rods, and reels in just about every length, weight, action, and size you could ask for. If that wasn't enough, their customer service was legendary. The young sales associate I worked with answered every question I threw at him with patience, and enthusiasm. I highly recommend Tarpon Fishing Outfitters, and will be visiting again soon.
