We’re so happy we took the drive for dinner tonight. Not only was the food amazing our server Brittany was just as amazing. We will definitely be back to enjoy another meal soon. Hopefully Brittany can take care of us again. And hopefully you guys let her know about this review it’s well deserved.

This is a superb seafood restaurant in Tarpon... They have indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. It's right by the waterfront, and you'll see the owners' connection to the sea everywhere.
They served a portion of deep fried cornbread, called hush puppies - crisp outside, soft and flavorful inside. We ordered the mussels to start, and then followed with the mains.
The portions are typically rather generous, and everything we ate was fantastic. As of mid February, they have a few new items on the menu - one of them is the cajun grouper, which is fantastic!
Depending on when you get there, you'll have some wait time to get your table. We waited 45 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it.

Amazing food! I wanted to try Rusty Bellies after a couple of recommendations and it didn’t disappoint. We started with pink mango margaritas, followed by a crab cake and Hawaiian roll. We then had a Mahi Piccata and Madame Butterfly. Everything was delicious. It was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It’s very busy on a Saturday evening so it’s best to make reservations. I will definitely be back. Great food and service.

Amazing EVERYTHING!

Jenna and Bobby behind the bar are some of the best bar tenders. There could be 10 people at the bar or 100 and they don’t skip a beat. Drinks are spot on and their customer service is top notch. Atmosphere is the best! FOOD IS THE BEST AROUND! Obsessed with their sushi! One of our favorite places hands down.

Great overall experience. Everyone loved their food, shrimp was awesome. Very crowded and limited wait time for how crowded and very speedy service for the amount of people there. Server was nice and very attentive. Atmosphere was enjoyable and had a great view of the water. Definitely plan to go back.

This was our first time coming here, and it definitely won't be our last. They had advertised stone crabs, so we came in to try some. I ordered them warm, and my wife ordered them chilled. Both were delicious. We also ordered garlic mussels and enjoyed them as well. We noticed they have a large selection of seafood items and will have to try some of their other options. Our service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better.

Delicious food! Wonderful atmosphere! Delicious drinks! We played corn hole while we waited for our table. I had a steak salad and it was amazing! My husband had fish and chips and it was an incredible tasty dish. The staff was amazing and very attentive. What a blast!!!

Really great food. Shrimp tacos were so good. Loved that it was right by there water. Our view was nice except a boat was in the way. Went for my mom’s birthday and she was all smiles. Going back cus its right next to the tarpon springs downtown district and just love those shops downtown!!

In my previous life, I used to often eat peel and eat shrimp when I lived in Florida. I figured while I was here visiting family it would be great to have some more. We ordered a pound of spicy peel and eat shrimp. It was excellent. Additionally, they bring out baskets of hush puppies. They were also very good. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We started off at another seafood place but the music was too loud. We looked at each other and said Rusty Bellies! Never a bad meal. Love the shrimp trio. All there meals are huge portions. Great service too.

So fun! This spot is right on the water and boasts a lively atmosphere. Our server Mary was a GEM! The food is so delicious, the fish so fresh. This is a must when in Tarpon Springs (which is such an interesting town full of its Greek ethnicity!). Just perfect.

Wonderful experience! If you’re going, try to get a reservation or else you may have a very long wait! Live music and outdoor seating was wonderful, especially in our Florida winter. Delicious drinks and amazing fresh seafood. Will be back!

Everything was pretty good. Their bathrooms are way too small, and there are lines. The men's room has no uranals. Servers were on top of everything like seasoned professionals. They even cut and served the cakes we brought for birthdays we were celebrating. Fryers need to be changed more often because the fried food was really taking on the taste of the burnt oil. The rest of the food was great. I will go again. Aide note, they have a boat dock, where 4 to 6 boats can cleat up. Love being able to bring our boat.

The main reason for giving them 5 stars is the fact that they were hosting and serving over 200 guests and, while the service was very "efficient", it was definitely effective. Everything we ordered came out relatively quickly and cooked perfectly. The seafood was fresh and plentiful, the drinks and beers were generous, and a good seaside seafood experience was had by all. I hate to repeat myself but, another culinary institution! Must, must, must!

Attended a Private Customer Appreciation event on the outside Patio. The service was excellent providing libations, as well as removing empty plates throughout the event. The Buffet of hors d'oeuvres, Stone Crab, Oysters, Chicken Wings was beautifully presented and easy access, as well as continually replenished. The food was fresh & delicious. The Bar service was friendly, quick & efficient. The staff of Rusty Bellies did an excellent job! The view overlooking the harbor and river is outstanding.

What a gem! Delicious, fresh food, free hush puppies, thematic environment, and friendly, accommodating staff. It's a good sign when there's a waitlist, and when we went it was 30 mins mid-afternoon on a Saturday. So expect a wait and see if you can reserve ahead.

Hands down the best hush puppies you’ll find! Amazing martini- special for Valentines week. Grouper and salmon with risotto were incredible- had Brussels with bacon but not cooked to my liking- I prefer them crispy not soft but that’s not their fault.

The best local seafood restaurant in Tarpon Springs! We love coming here. Always a great experience!

Rusty Bellies is our favorite place to dine and drink in Tarpon Springs. We come back every year and bring friends. Food is amaze-balls, atmosphere is fun and open air, and service couldn't be more friendly. Ask for Bobby the bartender, he will treat you right and keep you entertained. You can even watch the pelicans feasting on scraps from the boats coming in.
