While the restaurant may appear bustling and challenging to secure a table, rest assured, the service is remarkably swift, and the ambiance is exceptionally comfortable. Our server, Constantine (apologies if misspelled), exhibited impressive knowledge and unwavering politeness, despite a momentary oversight in taking my drink order at a table of seven – a lighthearted touch to the evening. The highlight for me was the appetizers; we indulged in six, along with complimentary bread. The hummus was delightfully flavorful, the Greek salad outstanding, and the Saganaki (flame cheese) reached top-notch status.

Moving on to the entrees, they proved to be delectable, with the lamb chops standing out, although the absence of presentation gave the plates a buffet-like appearance. The bakery and dessert options added another layer of delight, prompting us to take home a box filled with assorted treats. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and it's no surprise that this establishment stands as one of the most popular destinations in the area.

This was our second visit to Hellas and it was just as good as the first visit! Service was fantastic once again! We ordered Makaronada, Greek Scallops, Greek Burger, and Shrimp Ala Hellas. I personally had the shrimp and have to say that it had the perfect amount of breading and was fried to perfection. I'd definitely order again.

Not a secret I guess given the long lines of people at this restaurant. Food was delicious and service top notch! Reminds us of the good old days of neighborhood diners where good food and service brings you back again and again. Be prepared to wait for a table, leave your no. and go check out the shops and they text you when your table is ready. The wait today was over an hour! There is also an attached bakery with mouth watching treats though we were too full to sample this time. I read in reviews here that there is a parking lot for the restaurant behind it so definitely good to know. We feel that we overpaid for parking opp the sponge factory and realized cheaper parking is available if you drive down the main stretch. Next time!

Hellas was HELLAZ good. We had a large party with children and they were easy to accommodate, extremely friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive and clear in communicating with us. The restaurant had a fun and lively atmosphere. The food? Like I said, HELLAZ good. We ordered a variety of food, the gyro and Greek salad stood out as the most delicious. One notable item, the lamb and spaghetti was good, the lamb was awesome but the spaghetti was just okay, granted it’s not an Italian restaurant so that’s understandable. Don’t forget about dessert! I tried my first baklava and my goodness, it’s all I can think about now! The most scrumptious pastry I’ve ever had.

Eating at Hellas Restaurant is not just a meal; it's an event! My Greek-heritage dining companion was very impressed with the authentic selection of delicious choices! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delightful and delicious! Don't forget to use Hellas dedicated parking lot up a short hill behind the restaurant. The adjacent counter-service bakery is perfect for extending your Greek culinary adventure at home! Highly recommended!

AMAZING Greek food! The assorted spreads is a must-get; the pita is warm and fluffy and each of the three spreads is delicious! The restaurant is beautiful, as well as the surrounding area, and the food came out very quick 😊🍽 Great experience 🫶

Mixed review. The food was absolutely delicious. The price was fair for quality food in a touristy area. We've been here a lot for many many years and this was the first time we had a really lousy server. He was just so plain. It prevented me from ordering more because I was reluctant to ask questions and he seemed to not care. First time I was disappointed here but the team still deserves a five star rating.

You don't want to miss visiting this restaurant when in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The food was memorable and delicious. All the Greeks favorites are available. The staff is very welcoming and makes sure you will have a pleasant dining experience. Save room for the dessert or take one home from the Hellas Bakery.

Such a lovely place. Our waitress Karen was so kind and hardworking. Food was delicious. Bakery was just so amazing. Everything was delicious and so beautifully made and presented.

Wow. Just wow. This is the best Greek food I've ever had. There are many choices in this area, all competing for your business. We went with Hellas based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. I'd recommend the sampler platter to get a taste of a variety of their dishes. If it wasn't so far from where we were staying we'd have been here multiple times. Plus the service was very friendly and the atmosphere unique. If you are in the area you can't miss Hellas. Highly recommended and if we are ever in the area again we will be back!

Food was absolutely delicious and decadent in every way. We had the grilled octopus, the mousaka, the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) among other things. Tried their Greek coffee. Very much like espresso with no bitterness. The desserts were so numerous to mention and rich and wonderful. The entire meal had my eyes rolling back behind my head! The service was second to none. Alma knew absolutely everything about every dish, made some good recommendations and gave us all the time we needed to enjoy our meal at our own pace. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, especially every time someone ordered the flaming cheese appy. Definitely a do over next time we're in town.

Hellas is definitely the best Greek restaurant in Tarpoon Springs. You can’t go wrong with Greek cuisine. I had the broiled octopus, which was delicious and I came the next day to try the pita gyro which didn’t disappoint either. If I am ever in the area, I will return.

This place was amazing. Best shrimp I ever had, I ordered the shrimp ala hella and I will be going back for it. We did family style w the gyro, shrimp, & Greek salad and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back soon to enjoy some more. Yum!!!!

Fantastic food! Sangria is wonderful. All the entrees are incredible. The bakery doesn't miss! Highly recommend. I've been coming here for about ten years now and the quality is always top notch.

This place is wonderful... Amazing selection of dishes that will test your taste buds and I recommend that you try as much as you can They're locally made feta cheese is amazing.. I personally had the combination plater because I wanted to try everything our server was the amazing Alma served us..

Lunch at Hellas Restaurant in Tarpon Springs was an awesome experience! From the Saganaki flambéed at your table (often with a shout of "opa!") Greek cheese which is best with a spritz of fresh lemon juice and a whisper of parsley, to the Lamb Shish-Ka-Bob which is skewered with green peppers, tomatoes, and onions finished with an olive oil lemon sauce and comes with their daily sides.
Hellas Restaurant features Award Winning Greek Cuisine and Authentic Greek Pastries creating a truly memorable dining experience. They also have a full service bar with an extensive wine selection. Service was prompt and efficient (thank you Tripp!). This venue is very clean, organized and well staffed with uniformed employees.
The manager suggested online reservations or call in during peak periods. I am certain they will be accommodating and you will be very pleased with your visit as an experience and not just a meal!

Place is conveniently placed on the main historic route in Tarpon Springs. Wait was quick, menu selection was expansive, seemed to be very authentic. Truly enjoyed the food, we had amazing service and the atmosphere was nice and different.
