Micucci Grocery Store

This grocery store specialize in Italian product. They also have fresh Italian pizza and also dessert. I am not a fan of their sfogliatella to be honest, it's my first sfogliatella ever so maybe that's why. I just don't think the light lemony ricotta filling goes well with the generous cinnamon powder on top. But next will try their canoli and I'll tell you how it goes.

Nick in the deli has been especially helpful and has assisted with educating and expanding my understanding ingredients.
The entire staff is always a joy to encounter, I feel very fortunate to be able to visit a most exquisite establishment daily.

I love Micucci’s. Everything they do is top notch. I’m not a fan of their slab pizza but everyone else is. I do love their sandwiches. Need top of the line olive oil, balsamic vinegar ms you are at the right place.

Wow. That's all I have to say. Don't sleep on this. By far the best pizza I've had in my 31 years on earth. We just so happened to have been 2+ hrs at the dmv and this hit the spot.

Best Sicilian pizza I have ever had including in Italy. Every time I fly into Portland it’s my first and last stop.

I bought a slice of pizza from Micucci On India st! The pizza was tasty very delicious and is very unique to Portland!! They have the best Hand slab pizza in Maine!!

Good food, great team, well stocked, amazing pizza and wine! Reminds me of home and places in Europe I've been.

If you like fluffy, fresh, saucy pizza this is the place. My favorite pizza in Portland. Amazing market besides that.

Just ran in by chance to get a drink the other day. This place is definitely a local gem. The amount of foot traffic in and out of this place was crazy and its busy like that almost every time I drive by. The people working are friendly I gotta go back when I have more time to clearly check it out but by first glance It’s really cool.

Update: Wow you can now get your Sfogliatelle FROZEN to bake at home. They came out totally AMAZING!!! Just follow the directions and, as the pictures show, they look like THEY made it for you. There's a reason this store has been around for almost 100 years. Because they deliver the best of Italy from the moment you walk into the store and then again when you get home and devour your goodies:) these will be our new weekly family treat!!!!! End update

Simply the best Italian Grocery Store in Maine. Great staff, excellent selections and the Best Canoli's in New England (I know because I've tried them everywhere in my travels). They make pizza from scratch at 10:30 am. The other Italian Pastry (that I can't spell:) the one that's shaped like a sea shell is simply AMAZING:) I just can't Express how much we love this place. Also, they have off street parking on the side of the building. If you haven't been there give it a try, if you're a regular you know already;)

Grabbed a pair of their cheese and pepperoni slabs of pizza. Well worth the quick stop. Unbelievably delicious pie

Best place to get Italian slab pizza, fresh pasta, Anna's dried pasta, and fresh meats and cheeses! They sell Romano and Parmesan in ready-to-go containers by the 1/2 and 1 lb, and you can order fresh mozzarella from the deli counter. A delicious surprise from a recent visit: the cannolis in their fridge! They were absolutely delicious and I can't wait to get more!

This place is great! All the Italian grocery stuff you might want as well as many things I hadn't come across elsewhere. There is also a well stocked deli section that I need to check out in depth. There is a baker who brings in fresh bread on Fridays and it's great stuff.

The slab pizzas they sell are really unique and great! I saw someone describe it as angel food cake pizza and that's legitimately what it's like. There's almost no color/ crisp on the bottom but it's not soggy or undercooked... idk it really is like pizza cake. The sauce and cheese is perfection, you can feed two people with one slab, or get one for yourself. Best pizza I've had in Portland so far. (if you see this and know of good pizza around here, let me know I'm striking out besides Micucci)

Incredible spot. Hits home with all the memories of snacks and goodies they have here, if I lived in Portland I would only shop here for all my groceries. Can’t recommend it enough and the ladies that work there are the sweetest! Run don’t walk to Micucci but save me some meatballs!
