Very helpful staff! They enjoy their jobs lotsof remote control toys with lots of parts!

My 7 year old son and I had a good time wondering through the store looking for him a prize for doing good at a dentist appointment. Lots of high quality toys and hobby items. We ended up leaving with 3 things!

I have shopped at Homewood Toy & Hobby off and on for many years. They always have a great selection of parts and accessories for my hobbies (RC Planes and HO trains) the staff always finds time to help everyone and they are ALL ALWAYS kind. I look forward to the weekend trips to go by the store to see what is new and to get parts I need. Thanks for always taking care of us and I am really enjoying setting up the Coke trains. Absolutely the best hobby shop in town!!!

Had a great first experience! The staff were all nice. The guy in the back that helped me learn about and pick out the RC car that was best for me was fantastic! Definitely the place to go for all your hobby needs!

Took a visit while visiting friends in Birmingham. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Free wrapping for any gifts over $12! Got the kids a few things in including Legos, blocks, and puzzles. They have all options of trains and RC items too!

Been dropping by and shopping here for decades. Love the people and the variety of the toys.

I have twin grandsons who will be five next week. They may be twins but they are totally different in their likes, etc. The store had the perfect things for both of them. The staff is fantastic -- helpful and practical... and NICE! The store itself is just such a fun place-- a throwback to the kid toy stores that many of us in our 50s and 60s remember, with a hometown community feel to it! Great parking in the back and you enter the store directly from the parking lot.

So fun to shop in a toy store with a selection like that. On the hobby side, they’re set up with all of the top of the line stuff.

My mom and I went to Homewood Toy and Hobby Shop on Thursday. Such a neat store! They had sensory toys I've never seen anywhere else and bought 2 of them for the foster kids I work with to use. I have to brag on an employee named Emily. Best customer service ever!! My mom has Lupus and need to sit down and cool down. Emily got her a stool, brought her water, and blew the fan on my mom. She was so kind, warm, and friendly! Thank you Emily for being so kind. We'll definitely be back! :)

Went here specifically to get a new trx6. They had it in stock and Their price was right in line with everyone else, who didn't have one in stock. The gentleman was friendly and knowledgeable about the truck. I couldn't see the store because I went during the covid 19 shut down, so curbside only.

Went looking for an rc vehicle and i got it! The guy wrkn back with the rcs was really cool and helped me pick out the one i wanted, he walked me thru taking care of the rc, and it made it so much easier when i got home and he even told me about a better charger and better battery and it was worth it getting those 2 upgrades! I really enjoy this rc and plan to take care of it and have it for a long time!

This hobby and toy store is great. Commute was easy to find and plenty of parking in the rear of store. This store carries a wide range of products for children to adults. From Toys to RC Cars and has a wide selection of repair and upgrade products. Discounts are available on products. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They treat you like family if you have questions ask and they will definitely help in any way. I definitely will return because of my extreme interest in Traxxas. If your in the area stop by and check them out.

Lots of great unique toys whether you're shopping for your child's birthday or Christmas. They also have a small selection of lunch boxes and backpacks for the your preschool age children. Looking for a big brother or big sister shirt to make a pregnancy announcement?! They also have those as well.

They are the most knowledgeable people in the business they have technicians there who love anything rc . They made it very easy for me to learn what I wanted and how to operate my new rc car

Awesome store, so much I want to buy. Unfortunately I'm visiting from Canada and will not be able to come back for a few months. But I'll be back! Thank you for a fun shopping experience.

Took the grandkids here after going to the B'ham zoo. It was nice to actually be able to go into a toy store and let the kiddos look around and pick out something. Most all of the toy stores have closed so it was much better than going to Walmart or Target!

Wow! I was super impressed with the selection of all types of toys and games. I was able to find a few great options for my nieces and nephews for their birthdays. I enjoyed the fact that I could try and play with toys on display. This made it helpful to determine an overall fit. Plus the staff are excellent in terms of customer services and genuinely caring about helping you as a customer. I did not have the best idea of what games and toys were age appropriate and the staff was very helpful in determining the ideal gift per niece and nephew. Thanks ladies!!!
