North Market Pop Shop

What a shop! It is amazing how many different soda flavors are carried here. If anything is out of stock or the quantity on hand isn't enough, you can request they order and you'll be contacted when it comes in. In addition to the sodas, there's also a candy shop with equally as interesting choices. Last, but not least, there is ice cream and a limited menu of hot items made to order.

The staff is courteous and professional. My Family loves this place and we will surely return again (and again) soon.

We visited during the Fire & Ice Festival, so I can't speak to how it normally is, but they handled us without much delay and were friendly. My wife and I got milkshakes, her's was vegan with vegan oat milk whipped cream. We aggreed that both were good but not as punchy a flavor as we've had in the past. Not sure exactly what it was, maybe lower cream content than other brands. They use local ice cream. I got blueberry cheesecake, which was a nice flavor, just kind of mild and not as sugary as I normally have had. Massive selection of sodas, lots of weird ones, and tons of candies you've never seen. Very cool place, felt like a time capsule.

This place is great if you're looking for candy and soda. They have so many choices for soda of all kinds. Of course my kids love coming here for the candy because they have so many options to choose from. They also serve ice cream, which is great in the summer when you're walking downtown. I think they even serve hot dogs. Very fun place.

What a quaint place. They carry all kinds of craft sodas, with many many options for root beer (regular and diet). There are even seasonal favorites. What made this place better than other Pop Shops is you can order some light food and ice cream. My son and I got done all beef hot dogs and some of the vegan dogs (which were excellent). So what started as a trip for some Christmas soda, ended up with a nice lunch break as well. I'd note they also have s candy shop, but I didn't check it out, I'll save that for my next visit.

My Husband bought me bottles of soda for the last two Christmas Holidays from their website. Their selection is amazing and I love the unique flavors and that they offer multiple brands in flavors. We have the bottles shipped to us from the website and they take a lot of time and care to make sure that each bottle arrives safely. They have a really cool Soda Advent Holiday Calendar and when they shipped it out they also put the bottles in a gift wrapped box. You can just tell that they really care about their customers. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Holy cow what soda don't they have? If you have a favorite soda and can't find it here I'm pretty sure it's not made. They have an awesome selection of candy to boot. But, the ice cream is what I came here for. The coffee milkshake is delicious!

The staff is super cool and really outgoing. You have to visit the North Market Pop Shop you won't be disappointed.

This place has an amazing selection of specialty sodas to choose from! Even a Grass flavored soda!

I Came in here to look for the very hard to find and Amazingly tasting Specher Root Beer specifically and I was greeted by the Friendly and helpful staff that work at this place. They not only have all kinds of drinks/soda pops but they also sell and stock many different kinds of Candy, Chips and Sweet Treats Including Ice Cream, Milk Shakes, Soda Floats, Sundaes and many, many other good stuff! I literally felt like a small kid at a Candy Shop! LoL

Quant little place with tons of speciality sodas and candy for a surprisingly affordable price. Saw tons of products that we had never seen before and were eager to try, and my group ended up leaving with lots of new soda flavors to try & a good bit of specialty candy

Such a colorful establishment! They have fun and delicious ice cream and a HUGE variety of pop(soda). I've never seen so much! Everytime we visit we try a different one, and get ice cream! Their utensils and ice cream cups are compostable too! Definitely a must visit if you are ever in Frederick.

What a great place! You can make a float with any soda. I had a bacon soda with chocolate ice cream float. It was amazing! We also bought a six pack of mix & match bottles. Can’t wait to try them out. We will be back to the Pop Shop over & over!

A standout store in an area filled with standout stores. The North Market Pop Shop rises above the rest and is a great location for all ages. If you are a soda aficionado in the Maryland area, it is a must stop. You can get almost any soda made in America here, so if you have one on your list you could probably find it here.

Without a doubt, Pop Shop is one of Frederick's more interesting businesses. Personally, I don't even drink soda, but I've gone in more than once with others and easily acknowledge how fun it is to browse their huge inventory selection. Variety is incredibly high, ranging from your typical colas to novelty items like mustard or bacon-flavored.

Great service, but prices a bit high. I love it for the unique soda selection.

Me and my wife went to a soda tasting for Valentine’s Day and it was so much fun! An amazing value I do recommend it!! Seriously more sodas than grains of sand. That’s obviously hyperbole but they have a huge selection of beverages. I have this soda that’s my new favorite. I loved it so much I decided to leave a review about it. An awesome place to bring your kids or if you just want a soda for yourself. They have an large collection of sodas with interesting flavors. It's definitely a place to check out in Frederick if you're looking for something new to do.

Very cool, you must check it out, buy some old fashion soda, a hot dog and some ice cream. Old fashion candy too. Something new I found and loved was sour watermelon cotton candy.

This place is so cool!! Blast from the past for sure!! They have sodas from down south that I remember drinking when I was knee-high to a grasshopper! They have candy that I have not seen in forever (CHARMS!) The Harry Potter collection & the different Pez collections I've never seen anywhere else!
