Let me just say this, first! I am obsessed with this store!!!

The first time I went to Tic Tac Toys was in 2020 because I saw a human sized giraffe and had to buy it. I named her Gloria.

Since 2020, I have been able to see the store owners grow their family-owned toy empire throughout their two stores in NC. (Crabtree Valley Mall and Southpoint)

I cannot say enough good things about the store or its owners. They go above and beyond to provide educational toys and trinkets to people of all ages.

Melanie (one of the owners) talks to me consistently about how her goal is to enrich the minds of all ages by offering options of non-electronic entertainment that teaches the customer something new rather than providing a shortcut. And I value that as I am someone who is curious about EVERYTHING.

An update on Gloria: I have had Gloria now for three years and she has had four kids (Brooks, Juniper, Jordan and Jamie). Although she is currently a single mother, she will someday have a husband named William.

My family is huge into games, from card to board to video. So we are always looking for cool game stores and we were all very impressed by this place that we found by accident. It had a good selection of games, including one we have been looking for everywhere (we always try to buy from stores and not online)! They also had a ton of more common games - including about 20 different flavors of Monopoly - as well as a lot of toys, puzzles, stuffed animals and some exceptional backpacks for us older geeks.

Great staff and products to offer! I'd like to spotlight this rude KAREN (a customer) gave the cashier heck and talked to her in a very demeaning tone as if she knew more than the staff for an item she had no receipt (they only allowed exchanges) then reluctantly agreed to an exchange when that's when she walked away. BEFORE THIS, we asked if she was in line (she was allowing people to go in front of her, as if there was another line in front of her) and she rudely stuck her nose in the air and coldly said, "YES! WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?" Ooooh lady! You best be glad I was in a great mood today. It looks like you don't understand how lines work... since you're allowing people in front of you while you're on your phone.

Great store. It’s located in the old Disney store. It is really the only option of toy store in town compared to the big box target or walmart. Great selection of toys and it’s stocked. Has plenty of plush toys, arts and crafts toys and kites. My nephew and niece loved the store will come again with them in the future when they visit.

Stumbled upon the store while walking the mall, made my whole trip worthwhile. Everything wholesome, great gifts for my grandchildren, and quite a few things for myself too, all in one place. The lady working was the sweetest friendliest person you could ask for. Definitely my new favorite!

Now please open one in my town too 😁

Like this place. Big selection, great for kids and adults too. Diverse array of high quality stuffed animals with some things you don’t normally see. Got an adorable stuffed pig and the cashier asked me what I was going to name it. Amazing.

Best toy store!!! The owner is super sweet. My daugther spent 3 hours here and I ended up buying her a toy. The atmosphere... Is hands down organized, cozy, and even comfortable for a adult to chill there for 3 hours. Lol

Awesome store with tons of unique plush an some of the coolest board games an puzzles Ive seen highly recommend this place as somewhere to check out if your in the area

We traveled over 2 hours from Virginia to take our son on his 8th birthday. Best decision ever. My son raved for over a week about it being the greatest toy store ever! K and Eryn were both so helpful. Especially Eryn, in the Durham location, yes we went to both stores. My son wanted one thing and I wanted another and Eryn picked the perfect compromise. It was the first thing my son played with when we got home. All of us left with something- model kits etc. Perfect for all ages

Great place with lots of varieties of toys. Probably my favorite toy store. Been going there since before they moved to the second floor and have always have very good experiences. The people are great there, always great customer service and if I ever had a question, there is always someone who is willing to help. Wpuld highly recommend to anyone looking for a toy store!!!

After quite an extensive online search for a specific stuffed animal as a baby gift, I finally found it at Tic Tac Toys! Websites do work! Melanie was super nice to work with and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Both the gift and the shopping experience were perfect! 😘

Very welcoming and friendly staff, Tic Toc Toys has a wide variety of toys for both boy and girl. My son has a heart for tractors and loved there selection of John Deere. This is a beautiful little shop I would highly recommend checking them out! The Owner Cory was very kind and helpful during our visit.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Came in needing gifts for 6 grandkids walked out in less than an hour with gifts for all. Christmas celebration was a huge hit. Kids were so excited and each child loved their toy, game, or craft. Will certainly be back.

Purchased a monopoly game based on Godzilla. Staff is very friendly. I was looking for 2 animal charms, the manager stated that she could order them for me. I will be picking them up in the next few days.

I went to the Southpoint location and Quinn was amazing, she gave me amazing recommendations and was super nice. They have tons of fun games and even some really fun themed games from your favorite board games.
