Staff seems like family, and are friendly to customers. They are usually helpful if you need to locate a grocery item.

They have security on site during open hours, and they're observant of the store environment, yet nice.

Starbucks staff is super, and make great coffee! Love how they decorate their space!

Although there are homeless people in front at times, they don't bother you specifically. Except some mothers sit outside with their babies, not the safest situation...

Overall, prefer to go out of my way to shop here, instead of Raley's... Just because they are kind.

This review is a shout out to Z. I’ve always had a good experience at this Safeway, but Z makes it a little more fun and engaging. So many times I’ve been in line and barely gotten any acknowledgment from the cashier’s. I get it. Z is a jewel, enjoy her while you can, she’s headed for greatness!!!

Popped in to grab a fresh sandwich in the deli. Erica was behind the counter making a breakfast sandwich for another customer. It was so beautiful that I almost changed my mind.
One can tell that she takes pride in her craftsmanship and customer service. I asked for onions and she noticed the ones in the tray were old and wilted. She took the time to cut fresh ones. I wish I would have taken a picture because it was by far better than the advertised sandwiches. My mouth was watering as she wrapped it.
She asked if I wanted it cut in half where other deli clerks don’t so I was much appreciative.
The sandwich tasted fresh and the crunch of the sour dough was perfect. I’m so thankful for the detail Erica took because the fresh red onions made a huge difference and the crunch of the cucumbers were delicious. I would have been super disappointed with the whimsy wilted ones. Lol
Thank you Erica for your stellar customer service…it didn’t go unnoticed.

2/15/22 Tuesday Nice location in downtown Fremont. Use to be open 24 hrs but not anymore. Tres Leche cake 8' $19.99 taste good.

My checker was excellent, she went above and beyond to help me. She was kind and courteous even though it was Christmas and the store was packed with rude people. Thank you Joann.

Super clean and well organize store. I like how they stack their food like soda boxes and organizing shelves.

The lady Rebecca at the bakery department is so helpful she was really helpful in getting me selected the photo birthday cake for my son she takes care of each and every single detail rather it be the flavors or the icing she is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about cakes. Hopefully she will be able to help out others too . Thanks Rebecca for making our day right. Highly recommended.

This Safeway is hands down the best Safeway EVER! PERIOD! I've been to every other Safeway throughout the nation and they all suck, but NOT THIS ONE!! No siree, this Safeway has it all and then some! It's all that AND a bag of potato chips! And talk about clean!! I slip and fall everytime I go due to their freshly polished floors! It has the aroma of fresh scented candles with subtle notes of chocolate and cinnamon! Come and visit this Safeway as soon as possible, you won't be disappointed.👍

They have good apples. The cashier was nice too. I could find what I needed pretty easily.

In general, I appreciate Safeway Stores because of the wide variety of items, their lower prices and organization of the store. This particular location seems to have a larger inventory than some others, both in diversity of products and in number of items in particular products. Employees are friendly and very helpful.

All the options that you need! The new layout adds more stuff on produce section. Great app offers also.

It was very simple and fast.

It's always a pleasure to shop at Safeway. Competitive prices, quality goods, and friendly staff. Especially in the deli. They've always prepared and served awesome deli foods and great sandwiches. The produce section stays on top with excellent fruits and vegetables. I just like shopping here.

Very nice place. They always clean it so it is a very clean place. The way they treat their customer's is very nice. If you're a kid go to the bakery and get a free cookie. If there are more than three people in a line they will open another line for your convenience.
