Dollar General

This is the cleanest and most orderly DG!! I popped in while eating for auto service next door and was so pleasantly surprised by how neat and organized everything was. The stores near us are a mess so we don’t shop there unless desperate. I let the staff know how much their efforts are appreciated!!

I am at this DG every other day (I work right down the street) and let me tell you I have never had a bad experience! Daniel, the manager is just wonderful. I’ve worked in retail for almost 10 years and I know a hard worker when I see one. He really cares about not only his job and store, but his employees earnestly. This DG is also the cleanest, most organized and well stocked I have ever been in. I am so lucky to have a store of this caliber right within walking distance. 10/5 stars. Thanks guys!

I was told I was the first customer of this location one morning. The employee had trouble completing my transaction at the register and acted fast to call someone that could walk him through it. Very friendly and polite young man who was excited to be working and being courteous. Good luck!

Very clean. All merchandise is on the shelves, no delivery carts setting in the aisles.

The selection of items is a bit slim. However I do like the fact that they do have some fresh produce. Something that I noticed when the temperature drops the price of oil and Vaseline goes up 300%. They act like I didn't notice. Supply and demand I guess

Hire people that actually wanna do their jobs, not just talk on the phone and cuss at customers. The same two ladies are there every day and god forbid you interrupt a phone call because you need to check out, or point out that half the food and drinks on their shelves are expired. The employees make it an extremely hostile environment and talk on the phone through transactions, only stopping to give you a stank face look if you’re not immediately handing them cash and getting out of the store. Repulsive.

They always have one person working. The system always going down or its not open. This is like a joke of a general dollars. Why is every store worse in charleston sc area.

The short girl with red braids is very rude. She was not willing to help because she was to busy talking to her friends.

This store used to be open from 8-10 everyday. Now, they close at random nearly every day. Some days they open after 12 or they'll close at 3. I could understand this being an issue once or twice but this is almost every day now. When I asked yesterday why they closed at 3, the cashier just yelled over and over WE'RE CLOSED, WE'RE CLOSED like a lunatic. As if that's not bad enough, there have been several times I couldn't get the cashier to help me because she's too busy talking to random people and telling me she doesn't know how to do what I'm asking because she doesn't want to be bothered. Idk what is going on with the store but y'all need to get it together!

Worst dollar general on earth. I would say they need to hire some new people but I think they should honestly just close it

Rude worker on Tuesday November 14th at 1:10 PM ignored my question and then walked away into an employee only room, was also on the phone, and not with a customer.

Store always closes early or opens late now. A month ago they would be open from 8AM to 10PM every day. I was rushed out, poor customer service!
