The store was Very Clean, very friendly staff, and had a large variety of products to choose from. The only thing I saw that needed addressing was Price tags was either missing from shelf or inaccurate. Overall a pleasant experience I would most definitely return.

This is a fantastic Mexican supermarket and I visited their new location on River's Avenue in the North Charleston
shopping centre. I love how conveniently positioned it is with Highway access across the street. The servers are polite and very helpful and it paired nicely with the clean establishment and lovely ambiance. They have so many amazing foods there like fresh pastries, fruits, and veggies. They even have an ice cream section that's to die for! I bought a carnitas burrito today and it was delectable. They include a sauce station if you'd like to add a little more to your order. They have a great system where you order your food and go about shopping until your order is complete. It's so well run and convenient so I appreciate their efforts to give a world class customer experience.

I love everything about this store...it's a whole vibe when you walk in the door...the bakery is wonderful, their meat counter has all the right stuff...I love the variety of products from all regions of Mexico and Central America...plus they even sell all the kitchen gadgets/equipment...got my tostones press here!! And don't get me started on their birria!!! Yum!! 😋 pics are my tostones con queso, gallo pinto & asada fajitas (all ingredients purchased at El Molino) 😊

Best freaking Quesadilla I have had in the states. Everything is fresh. This little taqueria hidden inside the supermarket has not yet been tainted with bland merican texmex demands. The sauces will light you up. I’ll be back tomorrow. With tums.

This store is great and the food served in the cafe is fresh and delicious. I will definitely return! You could taste the freshness in the homemade corn tortillas.

This was my first visit to this store, and it definitely won't be my last, such a cool store! I will make sure to get more photos next time, but if it's a Mexican item they probably have it, freshly prepared tortillas, ice cream, meat department, Mexican cheeses, hot foods, drinks, etc. A really neat store for sure!

Seriously amazing food! We make the 40 minute drive at least once per month to eat the Birria Tacos. The food is always fresh and tasty - plus the prices are great and the food portions large. They have a large salsa bar next to the counter so that you can customize your tacos. The rice and beans are also outstanding - way better than any I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the dining area is very clean (there is always a staff member wiping down tables). They also have a juice bar - fresh and delicious!

So happy to learn of this place! Ice cream bar, bakery, food court, meat counter and a fully stocked grocery store! It's a Latin Disney World 🙌
I'll begin with: coconut ice cream was yummy
The steak burrito was excellent 👌 Stuffed with fresh ingredients and well seasoned meat (the steak wasn't all grizzly like most other places)
My kids found lots of fun treats to try!
It'll be a bi-weekly shopping and dinner adventure 😉

From the moment I entered El Molina, I was struck by the festive atmosphere and the welcoming staff. The store was impeccably organized, and the shelves were stocked with a wide variety of Mexican and Latin American products that I had been struggling to find elsewhere. I was thrilled to see familiar brands from my travels to Mexico, as well as an impressive selection of hard-to-find items such as mole paste, authentic tortilla presses, and even Oaxacan chocolate.

El Molina's produce section deserves a special mention. The fruits and vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the assortment of exotic and tropical offerings was truly impressive. I was able to find fresh tomatillos, cactus pads, and even guavas! The quality of their produce is unmatched, and it has significantly improved the flavors of my home-cooked Mexican meals.

The in-store bakery and prepared food section is another highlight. Freshly baked bolillos, pan dulce, and other delicious treats fill the air with an irresistible aroma. Their ready-to-eat selection of tamales, tacos, and burritos is mouth-watering, and I've found myself stopping in just for a quick bite on multiple occasions. The food tastes like it was made with love, and the staff is always happy to answer questions or offer suggestions.

I also appreciate that El Molina Supermarket places an emphasis on supporting local vendors and artisans. Many of the products they carry come from local farms or businesses, which makes me feel good about supporting both El Molina and the broader North Charleston community.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend El Molina Supermarket to anyone in search of a truly authentic Mexican shopping experience. The friendly staff, fantastic selection, and unbeatable freshness make it an absolute gem in North Charleston. If you haven't visited yet, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't be disappointed

5 stars for accomplishing what this city was truly awaiting: a mega latin market like the ones we usually see in other big cities.

The place is huge and has lots and lots and lots of latin products with a huge variety of them by countries. I've seen Venezuelan, Colombian, Mexican products mostly, didn't have the time to take a good walk and look into them but will definitely come many times in the future. They have a produce section, restaurant, butcher shop, bakery, frozen goods, dairy etc... Everything a supermarket has but for latin products! I won't complain about the prices because it's hard to import so be prepared to spend a bit more than usual, but some of them are cheaper than in other latin groceries. Truly an amazing place.

5 stars for this location. The food is still excellent even with the bigger store. And the shopping options are fantastic as well.
Get some carne asada tacos, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Ice cream counter is the best with so much more than just ice cream. All the spices, hot sauces, ingredients that you could ever need. Our go to for our taco fix.

Found this Mexican supermarket while traveling through N. Charleston on a Saturday. Great selection and very friendly employees. Bakery items are made right on there. Next visit we will try the restaurant inside market — it looked fabulous!

Best Mexican Supermarket in the area. You can find products and foods only found in Mexico and Central America. I found floor cleaners, detergents, pots, pans, religious products, and More that you will not see in regular Supermarkets. This Supermarket also includes a taqueria and a bakery. The tacos are really good. I highly recommend it!

El Molino Supermarket is undoubtedly the best Latin grocery store in Charleston, SC. What sets it apart is the food court section where one can grab a quick, authentic Mexican meal. A visit isn’t complete without indulging in their mouth-watering paletas (Mexican ice pops). The variety of veggies and meats on offer are not only diverse but also consistently fresh. Additionally, the store boasts a wide array of Latin products that cater to every need. Highly recommended for a genuine Latin shopping experience!

Good grocery store but the taqueria is the superstar here. Tasty, affordable, authentic tacos. They have specials on weekends. The day we visited it was tamales.

Been shopping and eating here since the original location in West Ashley. The Rivers location is always a good experience too. I usually get the Birria tacos and horchata! So good.

LOVED. Reminds me of places we had in Chicago growing up. We are so impressed with this store. It has la Michoacana, a bakery, and restaurant. Amazing!!!
