Corporate please take notes!!!!!! It’s the night before Thanksgiving 2023 and I am writing this survey because I would like to give kudos to the Store Manager Christian and his assistant manager who both run such an immaculate store. Shoutout to the staff for being on point and on it. They say great service deters those attempt to conceal product. This has not gone unnoticed!!! Wowza!!! My cashier, the gentleman with piercing blue eyes always has a smile on his face. The lady who helped me with my wine…. Omg spot on!!!!

I am thankful to have this Spec’s as MY store which serves my community in Katy, Texas.

Christian- thank you for always welcoming me and taking care of me when I shop. I see how you treat every guest!!! You’re such a gem!! I’ve seen leaders in my career sit on a chair… but I see a district position in the near future for the leader you are. Thank you for the outstanding wine recommendation and helping me step out of my comfort zone by trying something new!!! Cheers to an absolutely wonderful staff, an outstanding leader and a fully stocked store that makes you feel like home! 🍷🍷🍷

Great selection. Nice staff. Big, clean, store. Hardly no wait time in line, in my experience at this particular Specs location. Prices good. No complaints.

I don't give 5 stars often, but the staff at the Mason Road store definitely deserve it. I've been shopping here for over 10 years now. In my experience, they are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Guy that worked there was very knowledgeable and helped me find a bottle of tequila

Staff is always very helpful and make recommendations if needed.

Great selection. Lance in the beer department is very helpful.

They always have my ready order when I order online.

Customer service was fantastic! Very pleasant employees! Great selection of beverages, cured meats and cheeses as well as a great selection of kitchen tools and implements.

Helpful, nice folks here. If you need help finding a good beer, Lance is your guy. He helped me find some tasty stuff for me and my husband, talking me through the notes of each beer and sharing the secret of the right temperature for each one to bring out the best flavors. He even called another store within the county to transfer a pretty rare bomber of imperial black ale, hub’s fave, over to this location for me so I could wrap it up for Christmas. Although it took a bit to come in, Lance and an older gentleman with white hair, whose name escapes me, kept me updated and made sure I got it.

Our friends visiting from out of town also had a great experience when we strolled in to pick up some goodies for the weekend. Our beer drinking buddy was steered toward some unique beers he’s never seen before. Our friend that doesn’t drink enjoyed the wide selection of interesting snacks.

Spec is my mind refreshing and will rate a five

I always find what I am looking for at Specs. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable and has always been able to make wonderful recommendations.

Employees were very knowledgeable, leading us directly to what we asked for when we asked as well as able to give us great information and recommendations on everything from cigars to cheese to wines to rums, to beers, and everything in between! Store itself was large and spaciously laid out so that everything was well lit and could be easily seen. You could walk down the aisles without feeling like you were going to knock bottle off the shelves. This store has been here for a while so just well established and I would give the same review everything time I go in! They are always consistent and I highly recommend them!

Always greeted promptly when entering store. Multiple employees ask if I need help. Very friendly and well stocked.

We all know that ALL Spec's have a huge selection of alcohol, mixers & condiments (like this one). However, I liked this location because:
1) They had so many staff members on the floor to help me pick out GREAT selections for me to take to my Thanksgiving gathering that were within my (mediocre) budget. The staff members were warm, had friendly smiles, & were knowledgeable to make my shopping experience QUICK & EASY. Thank you for assisting me when so many options can be overwhelming😊 My cashier made me laugh & smile. She's a sweetheart. I regret not taking a moment to find out all of their names – sorry😔🥺 You ladies & gentleman are appreciated!🙏🏼😘

2) They also have some REALLY COOL & FUNNY alcohol smuggling containers: Fake tampons, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, etc.🤣🤣🤣 I'm definitely coming back to this location to pick up a few of those! HILARIOUS (I burst into laughter while viewing them – made my day) & a necessity when going to places that don't allow outside alcohol😜

The specs has a wide selection in the friendly staff. I've never had a problem asking a question about a product that a person doesn't take the time to direct me to the exact spot on the Shelf where it is.

Prices are reasonable and there's a cash / Debit Card discount program which is good for 5% more.

My last search was for Bane's South African whiskey. Specs didn't have it at every location but they could tell me the locations which locations did have it and so I purchased five bottles at the specs out west.

They had a good selection of high quality tequilas which is what I was looking for. I believe that the wine section is ok but they dont have the spanish and Chilean wines of my liking.

The great thing is that the manager said they will order my vintage and it could be here in a week!

Does anyone know John, if not they should? I think his mustache is called a Fu Manchu and Johnny wears it well. John is very approachable and well informed on his product. John gave me a great idea to purchase Tequila and the products I need for a Margarita. I usually go with a cheap Tequila and a good mix. But John spoke so highly of Adictivo Tequila I had to buy, not only the Silver but the Anejo as well, with a side of Leroux triple sec and frozen lime and lemon. He said to sip the Anejo, but use the silver for the margarita, and I will do just that. I really like how John took his time and explained what his experience was using this product. Great job John, I appreciate your expertise and your great attitude. If the CEO of this great company does not work out, replace them with Johnny, great fella that John.

Always a great shopping experience!!! The employees are very friendly and helpful! The lowest prices on liquor and cigarettes!! If they don't have what you want on the shelf, they can order it!!
