Half Price Books

A wonderful store in a beautiful old red brick bkdg...great books, calendars, cool staff, vintage vinyl records! Great stop in downtown Redmond on a lazy weekend afternoon...and of course, great liwer priced yet well kept merchandise!!

Thank god Seattle has an HPB. Two floors & so much to explore! Cool stuff to look at, moreso than the Half Prices I usually go to in TX. I hadddd to add a few (amazing) CDs to my collection when I visited. Hehe

I visit Half Price Books at least once a month to sell my magazines and books that I am trying to purge myself of. I love the selection that these stores have to offer. I always find the most amazing gems just browsing for nothing specific

This place is amazing! Everything's so organized. They have a really good selection, even some retro gaming stuff and board games. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is awesome.

Amazing selection of books with music and books on tape too! Absolutely loved this place! Our first visit here resulted in a ton of books coming home with us. They have their books organized very well, and it was easy to find what we were looking for. There is a large main floor, and an upstairs that did not have elevator access (in case stairs are an issue for you). This is one of those places that bibliophile could spend hours in. An absolute joy to visit!

A great store for books, vinyls, dvds, and other goodies for a fraction of the cost. The staff here were also very friendly and helpful.

My happy place . My favorite people are the librarians . I buy my pop up books here . I learned that bats have sonar things . I learned that polar bears live in the snow . I found out giants are actually giants . I discovered rhinoceros have a pointy nose . I learned that seals are not fluffy because they want too. It keeps them warm I learned that thermal clothing comes in handy for security jobs . I learned about butterflies can teach other butterflies things . I learned that a millipede does not have a million legs . Just enough . I counted .

Two-dollar CDs for those one-hit wonder bands ... sweet! Half price travel books ... sweet! DVDs and sheet music... sweet. Fun place, great parking.

You can buy lots of great books (fiction and non-fiction), postcards and greeting cards (in boxes or books), DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, journals, notebooks, calendars, puzzles, magnets, toys and so on........ spending not too much money!
I've been to two Half Price Books shops today and, as always, bought even more than I planned🤣!
If you subscribe, (I made it long ago, so I recommend you to do the same!😉), you will get great coupons several times a year.

NostalgieUH, I love this place they have all sorts of I think used and new books plus movies games and a fun crossword puzzle book I got for $5. Found some of my favorite childhood series there and it was awesome

A great shop that always has unique books. I have also had luck finding gifts and used video games there

I love the HPB chain in general and this is my favorite store in the area. Always a great selection of used books, you can even order online and pick up if you like. A lot of what I read is relatively niche, I’ve even found some things at HPB that are out of print and might be considered collectors editions but still incredibly reasonably priced.

The negative reviews seem to be almost entirely from people who are unhappy about the prices they were offered for their used books. Clearly a business is not going to give you what the used book is worth, they have to sell it for what it’s worth and make a profit. I’ve sold books at HPB several times and have always found the offers to be reasonable, albeit on the low end of reasonable, but selling here is more convenient than trying to find people to buy your used books for market value.

It's just a fun place to browse & find a book you never knew you needed.

A great place to explore and find new to you books.
Can be quiet and calm, but also easily fill up with busy moments.

Love this place. If you don't mind to buy used books they the only one who always have the best selection by the quality and amount of used books in good shape. They also sell new books as well and all other stuff worth to take a look even if you not gonna find something for you at the moment always come back in a month or two....and this place will look like they got new books delivered.

Half Price Books in downtown Redmond is a family favorite! They have a great selection of second-hand books and brand new best-sellers. The staff is very helpful and are willing to assist to find whatever you're looking for. Always find something to add to the ever-growing "to be read" list

It’s a great place with great books and accessories. There are amazing options and books available. You can ask the cashier to find books on their system for you to check the availability, which saves time. You can sit and read inside for a while. It’s located in a nice place so you a lot of food and drinks around. The connectivity is good by bus transit and parking is available on the backside.

Great lookimg store and a fantastic selection. Knowledgable employees. Friendly service. Recommend.

Perfect place to browse and shop for books, games, CDs, vinyls...etc. Close to downtown Redmond restaurants, shops, and hotels. Always great selections of new and used with super helpful staff. Only downside is a small parking lot but there is plenty of parking across the street a bit in Redmond Town Center or via street parking.
