Market Basket

This is the working class grocery feel that I love. Good bargains, hard working staff, and an abundance of ingredients. Market Basket is the linchpin of New England towns, providing jobs and sustenance.

We love getting the affordable produce (organic or not) and stopping by the butcher for some great cuts.

Highly recommended, I just wished I went to Market Basket sooner!

The shelves are well stocked, the staff are great, the prices match or even beat most of the others practically item for item. I actually ENJOY shopping at Market Basket and browsing while there. Cleaner than _______.

Plenty of parking, great prices, the deli staff is fantastic and friendly. Cashier and baggers are nice

Love the deli. Always have the kindest and best service there. One employee even was very kind making a sub asking how much of each topping I wanted on it which she definitely didn’t have to do.

Same products as more expensive stores like Stop and Shop and Shaws. No bells ans whistles, but simple good deals.

This location always seems to be busy; no matter what time of day! The store is always clean and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a sushi station where they make fresh sushi. They also have a full bakery and marketplace, which is always busy. Their prepared foods always look delicious.

Best prices around. Quality could improve. Fruit doesn't last long enough.

I went with my family while we were visiting the Boston area. This is a great grocery store. Very large selection of everything, in particular, the produce department.

First timer. Store was amazing, staff was great. Prices where better then other stores, the quality of the meat department was unbelievably amazing. I wish they had a market Basket in my neighborhood. The only bad thing was a couple of my items where rung up twice.

It's a convenience but lately I've noticed some of the prices going Canadian money coins if I can't pay with Canadian money why should I get.

Best supermarket in my opinion. All the things you need are here. I go shopping at least once in a week. They have nice deserts and I get deserts from there every once in a while

One if my favorite Grocery Store Chain, lovely staff, great food and convenient locations, not to mention, lower prices.

This particular store however does not have enough handicapped parking slots. I had to spend half my lunch hour driving around until I got a parking space.

Secondly, they sell awesome hot meals but nowhere is there a sitting area to eat it. I had to walk back to my car to eat the food. In the middle of it all, because I walk with a cane, the Sprite Soda I purchased was shaken up and when I went to open it to drink it overflowed all over my lower front, my lap and it soaked my pants and underwear. A very uncomfortable situation. I Live in Marlborough, so I was far from home to change. If the store had a seating area this would not have happened.

I can't blame the store for the mishap. I highly recommend the store. Positive experience indeed.

My dad and I stopped into the Junction liquor store but I was so glad to see K&G still open! Market Basket was crowded as shop... as usual!

Always a good shopping experience. The Market Kitchen is always polite and provides great lunch. The gentleman who always helps me with my lunch (Harrison) provides excellent customer service. Even when there is a long line of customers he is focused on making sure my food is prepared properly.

If you know, you know. Freshest produce. Best deli. Meats and seafoods top notch. And the best prices of any grocery store. It’s the only place I shop, and it’s the only place my mom and grandmother shopped, too.

Market basket is easily the best grocery chain in MA. Prices are reasonable, meats and produce are generally good quality, and the MB store brand products are great. My only criticism is I wish they had more fresh local seasonal produce. Even in summer it is always the Driscoll or other Cali strawberries. Still, I'll shop here over stop & shop every time.

The only bad thing I can say about Market Basket is that it's sometimes very crowded as compared to the Stop & Shop next door. That said, you can't beat the prices at MB and I love that the predominately teenage staff is trained to be courteous, polite and helpful. I also love that their store brand chicken (raw & rotisserie) is antibiotic free. Finally, I love that there are no self check-out lanes and this chain does its part to keep jobs available.

I love Market Basket, I mean, who really doesn't! They have the best owners in the world and food I cheaper than most, ill say no more!
