Thank you Team De La Vega ❤ Valentine’s 3-course meal was spectacular! I love the romantic touches… we sat at the 8:30 seating and had the vegan option; steak cauliflower and it was delicious 😋 we will definitely be back 🥰

This restaurant was great. Very nice atmosphere, quaint and the staff especially our server Daniella was awesome. Great latin infused menu and priced right! A+

I had the pleasure of dining at this gem in DeLand, and I was blown away by the culinary experience. The tapas here are truly world-class, offering a delightful journey for the taste buds. Each dish we tried was exceptional, but the empanadas and vegetarian tacos were standouts—absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The sangria complemented our meal perfectly, striking the right balance of flavors.

What made our visit even more special was the service. The staff was friendly and prompt, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Chef Nora took the time to walk us through the menu, providing insights and recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.

All I have to say is WOW!!
Had AMAZING food at this spot, in downtown Deland. It was nice to find somewhere that had vegan options closer to where I live.
I had theplaintain soup (!!!), and the hibiscus tacos, which i added the jackfruit to it…. PHENOMENAL!
My fiancé had the jackfruit quesadilla…just as wonderful!
The melt on the cheese (on both items) were perfect… and we were pretty sure it was daiya cheese, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, our server, Kailey (sp) was very attentive, completely helpful, and made our brunch dining experience even that more enjoyable/
We definitely have plans to return.. no question about it.

I ordered the Nachos De La Vega. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu.mmit was difficult to choose. I chose the nachos because if you cannot make nachos then it's not worth coming back. Well, they hit it out of the park. The food to chips ratio was right on. The flavors worked well together and the spice level was mild but noticeable. I kept wanting to put Chimchurri sauce on the beef, but I am glad I did not. It would have negatively offset the flavor pallet. All in all, this fun little restaurant held its own and is going to be a weekend stop off for us. Our server Daniella was very kind, and had a smile on her face and she genuinely seemed like she cared that we enjoyed ourselves. Drinks never went dry and she was very attentive....that is a breath of fresh air regarding servers today.

Still here and still great! They survived the pandemic just fine. Hibiscus tacos are of course amazing. Plantain puree soup is delicious. Their sangria is very good. I'm sure everything they make is good. Prices are actually pretty reasonable if you compare to other cities.

Omg! This place was far better than I hoped for! I enjoyed countless appetizers and entrees plus desserts! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of all because my hands couldn’t stop grabbing! I went with my daughters and grandson! One of My daughters is vegan and we were ALL able to enjoy this place! Vegan friendly and for meat lovers! Definitely going back!

What a great place to go in and have a great time! Food quality is amazing and taste is 5 start! You definitely have to stop here and try their tapas!! Won’t regret!! We have the avocados Rellenos the Churrasco and the chipotle Salmon! Definitely coming back!

We have visited here as a family and as a special day date treat. All and all I can sum up the experience with one sentence.

Small plates, big flavor.

The hibiscus tea with lime was absolutely refreshing and light. The Fishanados were so flavorful! Matched with the sweet plantains and the homemade hot sauce I was in heaven. My wife had the vegan enchiladas and those tasted so fresh.

We had our tennis group (20) go and the service was great! The food was excellent and for such a large group, came out on time.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 6 month dating anniversary here last night. The food was perfect and our waitress, Kaylee, was awesome. We had a great time. And after our meal, Kaylee surprised us with flan with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate.

We were very touched by the thoughtfulness and we will be back!

Fabulous food, we absolutely love the vegan enchiladas and vegan jackfruit fajitas, we also love their new bowls in addition theiir speciality dessert, super yummy! My waitress today was sweet and attentive

We stopped in during happy hour and had the most incredible meal and service. I got the 2-4-1 red sangria (good) and my friend ordered the hibiscus margarita which she loved.Our server Carrie was absolutely stand out. She started us off with some complimentary arripitas which were stellar. We decided to get the meal for two and got a split of super delicious chorizo and tasty cheese empanadas. We asked for hot sauce which was smoky and spicy. For entrees the taquiza gringa with shrimp - unique and incredible and accompanied by a vat of guac, and the tostones piled high with a fantastic ropa vieja. We couldn't finish the plates and were to full to eat the included dessert but brought home a chocolate lava cake. Definitely recommend this place!

Very delicious and creative dishes. The day I was there the wait was about 15 minutes. Rather than stand around they offered to call on my cell - that service moved them to 5 stars!! Servers were polite and checked back. Overall great dining experience.

My favorite place to stop and eat when I'm in Deland! Absolutely love their tapas. Such unique choices and flavors! My favorite are the hibiscus tacos. Great service is just a big bonus!

The menu is a fusion of different Spanish countries and absolutely delicious! Kudos to the chef’s , the food is appealing to the eye and the flavor’s are spot on!

This restaurant is amazing. I ate the hibiscus tacos, which was such a unique combination of flavors. I also had the hibiscus margherita which was fruity!

You know a vegan dish has been perfected when you don't miss the meat and dairy. This is true of De La Vega's Pura Vida Bowl - a satisfying blend of potent flavors. And it takes a master chef to create an overall taste which seems magically more than the sum of its parts. I'll be back!

10/10. Try the plantain tacitas as an appetizer or a small entree. It was my first time eating hibiscus like this, but those hibiscus flowers are so good!!! Lots of great gluten free and vegan options! Kaylee was our server and was super helpful and friendly

I stopped by with my friend after toastmasters. We tried the chocolate cake, fish, tacos and trio plate. It was all delicious and the service was great

Definitely will come again!
