This is my neighborhood grocery store, and it's always clean and organized. Today, I had trouble finding something, and when I mentioned it while checking out, Gail not only went to find it for me; she brought me three options to choose from. I really appreciate the help!

My wife and I consider this our grocery store. I happen to think it is the best grocery store in South Durham. Management (Douglas) is always helpful. I have asked them on two occasions to stock something in the store that they don't typically have and they've been more than willing to do so. As far as the store goes it's always clean they always have plenty of the items I need and want. I buy all my supplements here also. But my favorite thing to buy at this Harris Teeter is my salad supplies.

I love shopping here, couldn't always say that before.. the deli sandwiches are worth the trip, they're not a huge selection and it would be nice to add pastrami to the list of meat offered or do an uncharted but its hard to beat a boars head product, the salad bar is my favorite though, clean and well maintained. Can be a little pricey , average sales cost me about 11 buck's still a great healthy option.

I would say harris teeter is one of my favorite grocery stores. Every store I have visited has been very clean. They have a much wider selection than some of the other grocery stores in the area when it comes to alcohol and other items. I do wish they would bring back their free cookies at the entrance. This was always a treat for my child when we visited. They also Gave away free samples of their food throughout the store prior to covid. Boy do I miss those days!

Wonderful store. I like the fact that they have a lot of varieties of food and a wide wine/beer/ale selection. Did not fine my mace spice but it's a wonderful experience when you take time to browse

I've long been a fan of HT. You can count on the freshness of their produce. That's a huge thing with me. HT easily competes with Wegman's in NC. (Note: Wegman's is the US top-rated chain.) The Publix across the street isn't an honest effort by Lakeland. It's more of an afterthought, not Publix quality at all. This HT will continue to thrive because of an honest effort toward quality and variety.

NB: I lived in Florida a good while and have shopped Publix exclusively there. HT is generally on par. The HT in Burlington outshines the Publix across the street.

The best Fruit Tart is in this HT.
Highly recommended.
Twice more berries than in HT located on Southpoint crossing.

I love shopping at Harris teeter. Their food is fresh including the sushi! It’s made fresh every day. I love their deli. It’s always pretty clean. I get some of my groceries here but I know whatever I can’t find at a different store, they for sure have it here! Love the international section although some things I used to purchase from here are no longer carried, but it’s at my other stores.

Friendly staff, very helpful. I went in early to get helium balloons and someone helped me from produce because it was outside of the hours for that area. That same employee then went and found a large bag to help protect the balloons at my request. When I was at checkout, the lady at the self-checkout line proactively helped me scan my items so I wouldn’t need to take them out of my cart. The Starbucks staff were very nice as well and answered some questions that I had about travel coffee.

I believe Randall was the manager on duty - great job to him and his team for making my shopping experience great 😊

I was impressed with this location. They had baking goods in stock the day before Thanksgiving. I stopped going there due to a very bad experience at the deli. They also had discounted veggies on an end cap that finished my meal plans. Might switch.

I love shopping at Harris Teeter! It was very busy and a Deli/Bakery manager named Marcella made my shopping experience a positive one. An associate acknowledged me within 10 seconds and mentioned he would be right with me. He started making my sandwich and told me he would be right back. Then, Marcella sliced bread for a customer and said she would be right with me. After slicing bread she walked back to the Deli and finished the job by making me a sandwich! Great service and excellent communication on Marcella's part! Someone should give her a raise for sure. Good job, Harris Teeter!

I love Harris Teeter! Not any particular one or two; I know that whichever one I happen to be near I can expect the same high-quality service.
When I relocated to North Carolina from Massachusetts I wasn't sure of anything except that for some reason I've always known I needed to be in NC in my twilight years so when the opportunity came I packed up myself, my 16 year old dog, 34 year old parrot, and my rambunctious 13 year old parrot. The Senior Squad traveling 1,200 miles into the unknown.
My friend who lives in Florida asked early on if I'd been to Harris Teeter and I had no idea what she was talking about. So, to push me beyond a well-known store that has stores everywhere she gave me a $50 gift certificate and I haven't gone anywhere else since.
As I initially stated, I can expect the same high-quality service no matter which store I happen to stop at. All stores have the same general layout so it's easy to go in and out if I'm pressed for time. All stores are clean and well-stocked. There's almost always an employee working in the produce department and they're always pleasant and helpful, and all produce is well-trimmed and fresh. The meat section has very little fat and cooks up beautifully. If there's a "bad" section it's the frozen/refrigerated area near the meat/fish section because there are some days I can easily convince myself that I need/deserve a lemon cake treat. Sometimes I can get a slice but he really I can choose either a 1/2 or a whole cake. It doesn't matter because they freeze well and taste as fresh as the day I bought it.
In all fairness I should add that prices (especially meats and seafood) are higher than other stores but the is m awwuch better and Harris Teeter is now my go-to store for my monthly stockup shopping!
BTW, I forgot to mention they have in-store pharmacies. As a bonus for me I found out Harris Teeter is my Medicare plan's preferred pharmacy.
So,. I'm now where I was meant to be, and I have a new store chain I can trust and rely on!

Even though there had just been a pretty strong storm, the shelves were stocked the the parking lot was clean and the sidewalks had been salted. The store did a good job making it safe for customers. As always the staff was friendly and helpful. I will continue to shop at this Harris Teeter.

I have shopped here weekly since I moved to Durham a few years ago. I have always had a positive experience and I have found what I was looking for. Carolyn T at checkout is a kind soul who I could tell not only cared about doing her job well but that she also cares about her customers as a person. Such kindness and positivity is rare during these crazy times. Don't forget that you can also buy stamps at the supermarket as well! It may save you quiet a long wait at the post office.

I have always shopped at the Hope Commons store since moving to NC, 17 years ago.
I have always received help, when I needed it. Great service! The produce is very good. I love receiving emails about the sales each week. I buy all my gas at the HT on NC-54.

My girlfriend and I visited this evening and we were blown away by the professionalism, knowledge and and general hospitality of a member in the seafood department (Mamoudo - I may be butchering his name). He was seriously one of the nicest people I've met and was extremely helpful in helping us pick out and plan our seafood dinner.

With COVID and everything going on today, a little kindness and helpfulness goes such a long way. After our visit, we could not stop talking about how he was such a bright spot on our day. We couldn't find a great way to leave a customer review with Harris Teeter other than to call their 1-800 number. Anyway, great job hiring and keep up the stellar customer service.

I really like this Harris Teeter. Not only is it convenient to my work, it is clean and the workers are very helpful and friendly.
They have an extensive salad bar, fresh bread bakery, sushi, hot ready to go pizza, and a hot Asian bar with things like orange chicken, egg rolls, love mein, etc.
The sales are good and their store is always well stocked. Definitely one of the better Harris Teeter stores.

I hate shopping but I love this store! My little daughter and I shop here a lot. The regular prices may be a little high but if you shop wisely on the right day, use your VIC card and with coupons, you can cut your grocery bill in half. I save over $30 most visits. Also, sign up for their email list and it notifies you when your items go on sale. Great feature! Employees are pleasant and the food is fresh.

Standard Harris Teeter. Good loyalty program. Good coupons. Usually have enough cashiers on the registers and the self-checkout functions well. The weekends are busy, but even then you can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They are usually well stocked and you can find most, if not all, of your grocery list in one stop.
