Giant Eagle Supermarket

I had a good experience. I had a cup of coffee at thier Starbucks and was subsequently able to do my shopping quickly via the self scan registers. I am glad that gift cards can now be purchased via the self scan registers.

This place is your local Giant Eagle, or Jan Uggle in the local vernacular. This is a high priced over rated grocery store that is unfortunately the only normal grocery store chain in town and tries to pretend it's fancy. It's not fancy. It's totes average.

However.

There was this really cute red head that worked there for about 10 years just about 10 years ago. I married her.

Very clean and the staff is friendly. I love the fresh produce section, everything is always freah

Love this store! Great selection of beer and wine! Friendly, helpful employees. Great prepared foods section. They even carry my favorite local salsa! TWO UGLY MUGS! Must try!

There is a gentleman who works the deli counter and he excels in customer service. The deli closes early, he’s the ONLY one working, and there is a long line. He greets each customer with a smile and is very polite. He’s consistent with his accuracy in getting it right the first time. He doesn’t have on a name tag but I am thoroughly satisfied with my service and his ability to manage a busy busy evening! 5 STAR - you guys are lucky to have him!

Jaylyn was the cashier, and she was excellent... very efficient and fast!

I am a senior and use a walker. This is my one stop for all my pharmaceutical needs, my food needs - odds and ends of all kinds, daily bakery needs as well as delicious and beautiful celebration cakes and cookies. Wonderful deli meats and cheeses. Great extensive salad bar. And a cafeteria to take out or sit and have a nice lunch. I even get.my stamps here - and ATM needs. Nice, clean and attentive service.

I love that it is always clean & the sales associates are friendly and helpful! Unfortunately sometimes the checkout lines can be long.
New store all around. Self checkouts are easy and there hasn't been a line to wait for. New carts, much better than the older ones. it's relatively busy but you get around rather easily!!

Love this store. All employes are very nice and always ready to help. They remodeled and it looks great. I get more for my money here than I do at Shop n Save. Giant Eagle is definitely cheaper. Still the friendliest employees. The employees are always ready to help you

As always I go in looking for a few items, coming out with always a $100 purchase. So i suppose it's the place to find good stuff n 'stuff'. Always relax and shop with intention.
Giant Eagle is a good place to go.

Joshua was my personal shopper today. He did an excellent job. I love that the personal shopper texts me and we get to shop together. He made appropriate suggestions and was very polite and efficient. We use this grocery pickup service I love it. Thank you giant eagle

Very solid location. Newly renovated with some products moved around, but otherwise its a clean store in a convenient safe shopping center. The addition of check-out machines helps with waiting times when it gets busy.

I shop at this store every week. I receive excellent customer service at the desk. When there is an error, they always take care of it. Never an issue with anything. I always encounter pleasant people at the deli! I have no idea what these other reviewers are talking about. And I can say that the cashiers, customer service, manager, baggers, etc....all excellent customer service. They are always pleasant with me. And I know great customer service because I take almost 4500 customer service phone calls a month! Maybe if YOU the customer would smile and be pleasant...and not look at the people that work there as your slaves who need to bow down to you every time you go there because YOU are the "customer"..maybe if you treated that person a little more human...yeah...maybe you might just walk away with a different experience. Something to think about but I give this store 5 stars because they all deserve it!

I always enjoy going to Giant Eagle in Brentwood. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Today I informed the cashier Diane that I a was traveling home on the bus. She made sure my groceries were pack securely for the trip. Needless to say my trip home was uneventful 😊.

just wanted to say that your cashier Marion was the sweetest and most kind cashier I have ever met. She made my shopping experience great as I have had grumpy cashiers before at other giant eagle locations! I know being a cashier is stressful especially around the holidays, but she was just the nicest and sweetest person I have met out of all your locations. She deserves a bonus!!
