They had recently changed ownership and the new owners have greatly expanded the products and reduced prices as compared to Cogos.

Also they will cash your lottery tickets unlike Cogos who never cashed any tickets more than $20 bucks.

Prices are great especially being a broke middle schooler who likes to buy food

An interesting little store to say the least. The store caters to locals and carries a wide range of Indian food products and produce, as well as the typical items found at a convenience store. The store was very busy when I was there and there was a bit of a wait. The coconut cookies and the Bakarkhani were really good. The prices were a little high, however.

Some of the cashiers are nice and some aren't. It's a good place to grab a paper or gallon of milk.

It's an alright place to shop. Plenty of variation of food, drinks and other convenience store items.
Be careful when purchasing items though. Double check the expiration date. I've noticed a frequent pattern with places like this. They will typically leave expired items on the shelves and in the coolers. I'm assuming its to try and sell them so they don't have to take a loss by throwing them away. I've had a couple times where I purchased something, got home, found out it was expired, and had to throw it out.
So be sure to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES.

Bought two power ball tickets for $6
I gave him a $10 bill and he refused to give me my $4 change back. He gave me 2 scratch off tickets and literally told me that’s what he’s giving me instead of my change.” I was too tired to continue to argue with him. It was clear that he would not give me my change. It was so ignorant.

I was very disappointed and embarrassed this evening. I stopped to buy an ice tea and a couple scratch off lottery tickets as I do often because of how close the store is. But after tonight I will never shop there again. I assume the owner, the only person I ever see working there, treated as a low life.....
I opened my carton of tea (as I always do) getting ready to pay for it, handed him $20 bill and sith an obvious attitude remarked, "I can't take that, all I got us 20s all night, no change! " I said OK and handed him my credit card. Again rudely, " I cannot take that, why would you even open it!" So I grabbed whatever change i had trying to ignore the ignorance and disrespect, handed him 69 cents and said I should be able to come up the 30 cents in my car if you give me a sec. Yelled out to me as I was already on my way out,"Take this with you!" Ran back to grab my tea and while at the door another smart remark, "I expect you right back in here with my money," as if he already had thoughts from me taking off! I was appalled! I tried twice to pay for it and it was rejected! So I don't get why I was treated that way and how I was to know he would only accept exact change! I did not see a sign stating so!

Anyway as I was digging through my car for the 30 cents praying I had it to avoid the humility, a nice young man stopped me and said don't worry about it I took care of it. I think him so much and was very grateful. It's nice to know that there are kind people out there and I know I would have done the same for someone else. I also plan to pay it forward.

As for the store owner, I hope one day he might take consideration for others feelings, strangers or not. And also realize not all people are bad, l looking to get over on him.

Don’t play lottery here.
I have been told on multiple occasions that they could not cash a simple 20-30 dollar scratch off ticket. If they can’t take care of you as a customer, don’t buy their lottery. “Sorry, I just changed my drawer.” is a sorry excuse, you should keep change on hand for lottery. I’m sure they don’t open their store with an empty drawer in the morning.....

Be warned the older nut case that works the register needs some medication so not to go off on the customer for no reason. She needs to find another Job. She can't talk to the customers in a right manor which is needed in her position.
