H & L Produce

I enjoy coming here to get fresh produce, fruits, and an occasional bottle of wine or 2. They have amazing scallops that I cook on the grill. But what I especially love are collards and ham shanks. They are absolutely perfect for my collard greens 🥬 recipe!

I happened to drive by and realized I wanted lots of fruits and veggies for dinner on this hot summer evening. Starting from the parking lot, I found it visually pleasing with a variety of colors from the produce and potted flowers. To your left as you enter is a meat case, and directly to the back is the dairy and produce sections. They have several wine and beer options, and lots of snacks. It's very neat and organized. While many items are gourmet, and most of the groceries are spendy, they do have some items on sale for a good price.

There are no steps, and though the aisles are a little snug, this store appears to be accessible.

I also really like that they are open. 24 hours a day, only closing on Christmas.

I'll be back.

Absolutely the best place in the area for local food! The produce is fresh juicy and big! I highly recommend the ground sirloin to its delicious! The staff is nice and the selections of local made food stuffs is absolutely worth the stop in. High recommended for locals shopping!

Excellent, high quality, good prices. They are a spin-off of Tacoma Boys! Come here for fresh local produce, meats, cheeses, dairy products, and so much more. Better quality than you'll find at Safeway and Albertsons, and definitely better than Walmart!

Wide variety of produce, wine, meats, etc. Employees were friendly and helpful. Love this store! Store was clean and well organized.

The staff is friendly and helpful. One of the gentlemen in the meat section let me try some turkey lunch meat before I purchased it. Another lady restocking shelves let me know they would start ordering boxes of juice/apple sauce squeezies for me and then gave me a deal on the ones I bought. I will recommend this store to everyone and will shop here as long as I live in this area!! Plants are great too.

Always liked this store. They carry some hard to find items. Great meat department. Can be a little costly.

Always fresh, always the highest quality ingredients.
We did all of our Thanksgiving shopping here, simply marvelous.

Love this place their selection is well above expectation. From the meat, to the veggies, to the prepreped soup mixes... So awesome btw. To much good stuff. Can't thank you guys enough for being u 😁

I love this place. Great beer selection. Little pricey but that expected.

This place consistently has a great selection of single beers for decent prices. 6 and 12 packs are also available. Lots of nice fresh fish and meat at the butcher counter. Gargantuan produce section inside and out. Try the store brand spicy pickled eggs. You likely will not be sorry.

This little market is fantastic! I wish I would have checked it out sooner. Lots of fresh veggies and meat selections, very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the selections and can't wait to head back! They even have really great beer and wine options and tons of samples throughout the store! Plus, it's the biggest selection of apple's I've ever seen!

H&L is the best neighborhood store for meats, produce, plants, flowers, and specialty products. Long time patron.

The Tacoma Boys of Lakewood. High quality grocer but high priced too. 24 hours which is nice.

Always the freshest of veggies. Wonderful wine selection. Beautiful Fuirts. Great cuts of meat and fish. I also love the choices in seasonings.

Pretty great craft beer selection, and if you are big into mead they have one of the largest selections of regional meads I have seen around! Produce is very affordable but everything else is kinda pricey. Also good to know they are open 24/7 :)

Can find spices here that I can't find at other places. Produce and meat can't be beat! Fresh cut flowers, plants, special cheeses and wines. This is a great pace! Open 24/7!!

Absolutely felt welcome in there even if it was after 11:30pm and I suddenly felt the need to dance to the beat with the music playing over head.
