Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Absolutely amazing experience this morning. The gentleman greeted me with a huge welcome. Very friendly. I got what I needed immediately he shook the ceiling paint for me. Offered to take it to my car as well. He shook my hand after loading my car and thanked me for my business. Amazing personalized service that you can’t get from the big box stores. This was a top notch customer service perfect experience. If there were a training video on how to interact with customers. This would have been it! I didn’t catch the employees name but he was working the store at 8:00 am on Friday February 16th. 👏👏👏👏

The young man that assisted me, (Nick) was extremely helpful color matching paint - I arrived at the store 5 minutes before closing and he took at least 20 minutes to make sure the paint was a perfect match.

Came in with a specific problem had a very old neglected house that needed some exterior primer and paint. Staff was able to explain my options asked me a bunch of questions regarding the material I was painting sent me in the right direction and now that everything is complete I couldn’t be happier. Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Scott (store manager at Crystal lake location) was instrumental in me getting my old disheveled deck sanded and stained!! He was extremely knowledge and accommodating in recommending the correct products for my project and working with my budget. All the employees at this store have been helpful, really a great group of kind people. I will definitely come back to this store for all my painting needs!

Excellent experience. The manager went above and beyond to help me get info on painting my composite decking. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me review all options.

Edit from my previous review. We received a call from the store manager(s) and they were very apologetic and resolved our issue. The crew that we hired to paint our house really likes this store, so I am pretty sure we just caught an off day/time (We did show up close to closing). They have started painting our house and the paint is beautiful. I want to thank this business for following up with me and offering a resolution. This kind of customer service makes all of the difference.

For over 20 yrs we have been using this local store and have never been disappointed. The staff and products are terrific, friendly and helpful. I love that they keep our prior purchase history available; I've needed to reference it more than once!
A bit pricier this year - more than necessary I believe. However, they have always been willing to make me a great deal whether it be on wall paper, paint or stain.

Just came in for a quick quart of touch up paint but the gentlemen working provided some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time, he was juggling multiple customers but greeted each person and asked how he can help, and after I purchased the paint he handed it to me with a handshake. In this day and age it is these experiences that keep customers coming back.

Can't say enough about this Sherman Williams and the store manager, Scott! Great customer service, attention to detail and always willing to help out with a project. Only place I'll go for paint and stain!

Great Customer service! I would highly recommend going to this location. Michelle was so awesome she asked me about my project and colors. She brought out wood samples so I could put the swatches against the color of wood I have in my house. Picking out paint colors is stressful for me and she sure was the help I needed.

The knowledgeable and friendly team make the shopping easy. The store is well organized, neat and tidy. It goes without saying that Sherwin Williams paint is a superior product.

Excellent customer service. Needed to purchase a small quantity of paint for a repair and didn't want to to paint the entire room. They were so accommodating and gave me a great deal on the paint

After buying paint at HD and it being blue instead of grey, I decided to try Sherwin Williams.
Their paints are so worth it. Color is just like it is supposed to be,and it is so much easier to paint with. They are on average more expensive than any other box store paints,but it pays off in the end. Will be visiting them more often for future projects.

The staff are attentive and professional. They help you they have ideas wood paint choices. They explain everything the difference between regular paint in the vinyl paint. And they're so friendly.

Michelle is fantastic went above and beyond to help us in our choices. When we returned to the store for more paint ideas she remembered us. Greer customer service.

Mike made the 45 minute trip to the Crystal Lake store worth it with his great attitude and customer service. Fast and easy!

Great job, they did not have the paint I needed, however they located it and had it ready for me when I got to the Lake in the Hills location.
