The Tile Shop

I cannot boast enough about the Tile Shop, in particular Vivian. In 2019 we did a kitchen backsplash remodel. We walked in the store and browsed and within 10 minutes were approached by Vivian. She was sweet, helpful and funny. We had brought it a panel from our cabinets and kitchen specs and told her our vision for tile.

Within a few minutes, she came back and showed us incredible tile at an amazing price within our budget (*keep in mind that the Tile Shop does NOT install the tile but they will recommend tilers). She gave us tips on what would hold up in a kitchen, how to clean/maintain it, what we would need to install it ourselves, etc.

We purchased the tile and all materials needed that day with her help. She was realistic with how tough it would be because of the tile we chose and suggested 3 tiling professionals that they recommend (we went with Lou Ponzo, not affiliated with the Tile Shop but him and his son did an AMAZING job - highly recommend)

The materials came super quick, within like 2-weeks or so. We have a pickup truck so we had the Tile Shop load it in the back and Lou installed it.

Fast forward to January 2022 and we’re back at the Tile Shop working with Vivian. We went to browse on a Saturday which we knew it would be crowded so we just called on a random weekday to speak with Vivian with our ideas in mind. She told us to email her with the room specs, tile we liked, and what we envisioned. We did just that and she told us her opinion, gave us 3 separate quotes within 24 hours to see the different price points depending on if we wanted to add additional tile or not to our powder room makeover (adding a tile baseboard, a pencil trim, etc).and

A few days later, we wanted to see what she had in mind with the 3 quotes so we went back into the store and she told us her thoughts of what looked nice, what would be a nuisance to clean, the slightly different colors in the marble, etc. With her help, we were in and out in under 30 minutes. We LOVED what she picked out and suggested and recommend things we wouldn’t have thought of. She even gave us a realistic timely of when to expect the supplies and checked to see if everything was in stock - awesome added customer service in my opinion.

If you’re looking for tile, Vivian is a tremendous asset to the Tile Shop. She has done an outstanding job both times assisting us and I can’t recommend her expertise enough. If you’re going to buy new tile, bring pictures, measurements and an open mind. We are extremely happy with Vivian’s customer service and are excited for our new project!

*also note, if you buy tile from them, usually you can return any unused boxes or sheets which is really nice. Definitely be sure to ask about this, however*

Vivian at The Tile Shop helped me pick the perfect tile for my kitchen backsplash! I was so undecided, but just showing Vivian a picture of my countertops and cabinets, she knew which tile would look best. It turned out great! Vivian also helped me pick out the grout. Customer service was superb, especially compared to the big box stores. I will be back for future projects! 10/10!!!

First time browsing here for tiles. I was looking for porcelain tiles for my new house foyer and decided to stop in here. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and they were super busy and people everywhere. No one greeted us upon entry nor did anyone talked or helped us when we first walked in, but that didn’t bother me. If you are someone that expected that, then this may not be the place for you on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. Not sure if they even do appointments in this COVID world, but as a “first come, first serve” type of place, do expect to wait for any attention. We just walked around and browsed their selection by ourselves and that was fine. They had a lot of sample rooms tiled and set up for you to view so that was nice. After being there for 15 mins or so, couple of staff freed up and I was able to connect with Nicole. She was attentive and helpful. I finally found the perfect tile for my new foyer and was able to bring a sample home to show my wife so that was great surprise. All in all, great selections, helpful staff when you can get one, and informative showroom. Can’t wait to have these beautiful porcelain tiles in my new house!

Never have I ever felt more welcomed and appreciated than at the Tile Shop in Wexford. I was welcomed when I entered and started to work with Sierra. She showed me exactly what I was looking for and helped guide me toward making the right choice for my project. Sierra was not only knowledgeable, but friendly and personable. I really enjoyed working with her.

I also appreciated that they have a plethora of selections online with excellent photos and descriptions. This lessened the time I needed to spend in the store deciding.

Thank you Sierra for helping me select the right tile for my porch renovation. It's looking spectacular!

For all future projects, I will ONLY give my business to the Tile Shop.

My master bath shower! Designed and bought through Alicia at the tile shop! She’s amazing! She makes sure you don’t buy things that won’t physically work together! Due to material, size, location etc. she saved me many trips to Wexford from the city just by being attentive and thorough. She knows where absolutely everything is in that store as well. When you have no idea how to describe what you saw on Pinterest she knows exactly what your trying to say, disappears for a few minutes and comes back with what you wanted!

After visiting several tile stores, I didn't find anything appealing. When I stopped at The Tile Shop in Wexford, I was greeted by Vivian Akosah. Her product knowledge, friendly personality and design expertise helped me make just the right selection of tile. I strongly recommend The Tile Shop in Wexford and definitely ask for Vivian.

Large selection of tile and stone made shopping for our master bath remodel easier than a lot of other places. Vivian was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Vivian is such an asset to the establishment… We are updating our master shower (tore out the shower surround and updating with tile). I tried for months carrying my existing floor tile and pictures around to shops to help me match and achieve a cohesive look.. Within 15 minutes with Vivian, we had multiple options laid out, down to the chair rail and bullnose.. Something that no other business was able to do for me!

I am excited for the finished look, and Vivian made the whole process enjoyable and I will return to The Tile Shop for any future projects!

This location, is fantastic, the show room is out of this world,,, you can esaly spend a couple of hours looking a all the great displays they have,, the staff is very helpful, went there yesterday 3/01/18 ,, they helped me right away,, the price was great,, I recommend this showroom.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐,, take you time do not be in a hurry,, select what is right for you..

We loved shopping for our bathroom remodel here! There was so much to choose from, the selection of beautiful tile was overwhelming. Our sales associate worked with us every step of the way and was very patient and accomodating with any of our changes along the way. They even let us return many of the extras that we ended up not needing.

Great to work with. I had a contractor remodeling my bathroom during the Corona. We were stuck because I purchased a bunch of broken tile from ProSoure and needed something on the fly. Arianne was great to work with! She made some quick recommendations and got us what we needed that same day. The thing I personally liked most was, they actually took the time to make sure the tile wasn't broken or damaged before I came to pick it up. I'm getting ready for another flooring project this summer and can't wait to go back here.

Excellent customer service, great selection of tile, materials of quality workmanship. Easy to order and ship samples online and the showroom is wonderful for laying out multiple pieces, matching colors, learning about the products and possible layouts, browsing and seeing sample installations to get inspiration.

Great experience. Make sure you order more grout than what the sales associate/designer recommends. We ran out of the whisper gray grout and our contractor finished the job with something else and it’s noticeable.

Great selection of tile, & very knowledgeable staff, plus friendly. Pricing is competitive. Showroom is impressive with wide selection of styles - & settings. The staff, including Alicia the manager, offered helpful advice and excellent service. The selection of tile is well curated with contemporary styles.

Very helpful staff. The displays are beautiful. It was a 45 minute drive from my house but worth the trip. If you need tile or ideas for your home, this is the place to go.
