Bloomfield Groceria

Spending a few weeks visiting Pittsburgh and staying nearby here in "Little Italy." I was SO happy to stumble by this gem. Everything we had was delicious, but the best was their Wedding soup (available wed only). Authentic, flavorful and LOADED with meatballs, chicken, pasta... Everything! I cant wait until next Wednesday! PS. The Italian Restaurant next door has good pasta, but dont get their Wedding soup. Groceria i rate 10, theirs 3

Love this place, all high quality food at reasonable prices! And on top of that they’re keeping the Italian heritage of Bloomfield alive, I would greatly recommend visiting. Also, their subs are amazing!!!!!

Best sliced cold cuts! Prosciutto sliced razer thin and baby Swiss penny thin! Just the way I like them! Buon appetito!

Good food, fair prices, kind folks

Great GREAT sandwiches and home made soups. Good deli selection, esp if you want higher end stuff. obviously the higher end stuff is expensive but IMO well worth it. Place is small but not normally too busy.

I stopped in while walking around the neighborhood on a recent trip to Pittsburgh. It is as described an attractive specialty grocery store that has freshly made large sandwiches. I ordered a hoagie and it was excellent.

Support your local grocery store. Great Italian food. Can't wait to try their sauce tonight.

Fresh made pasta, meatballs, sauce and other Italian goodies

I had cabin fever and needed some fresh meats and cheese. Hands down one of the best Delis I have have ever visited. When in doubt ask the staff what their favorites are. Best provolone cheese I have ever tasted! Keep up the great work...

You can't get everything at Bloomfield Groceria, what you can get is a select inventory of high quality and well curated Italian foods. Personally the attention to quality of the meats is what keeps me coming back again and again. Try the Genoa with fruits and cheeses ,this cured meat, and specifically this groceria's selection of this cured meat is an absolute delight. A high quality Genoa has sweetness to it without being overly salty and you will absolutely love what you find here.

My husband and I agreed that the imported cheese ravioli was the best we have ever had- so delicious! For $18 we were able to purchase ravioli, homemade tomatoe sauce, and fresh bread and we were very impressed with the quality and affordability of the this little store.

I loved the original Groceria, but I'm so glad that one of the previous employees picked up the torch and opened Bloomfield Groceria. I like their selections and fresh food picks. It's bright and full of italian-style options. I hope to continue to be a patron for a long time!

This store is one of those hidden gems in Bloomfield. Upon entering the first thing you notice is how clean and organized the store is. They have a variety of frozen foods, ex. homemade ravioli, gnocchi. They have various deli meats and cheeses. Freshly prepared hoagies as well as a variety of daily species...check out tbeir webpage for the specials. Oder these early as they go quickly. Hint... Wednesday is meatball day...yummm. Covid protocols followed and everyone there is polite and helpful.

They have the best lunch meat available always fresh. And there stuff shells and gnocchi and little meatballs for wedding soup are delicious 😋

homemade sauce, killer meatballs, pepperoni rolls that look like FOOTBALLS, and oh yeah...beans and greens...who could ask for anything more? Fresh ravioli being made while you order lunch, great selection, clean shop, helpful staff...today was my first day stopping here and I'll make every effort to go back again and again. FANTASTIC find in Pittsburgh's Little Italy!
