I recently visited Bloomfield Drug Store. The new products and revamped area in from of the store are fantastic! Probably the best place to shop in Bloomfield for unique and specialty items for the entire family (kid’s educational toys too😊). They have their own brand of supplements, and the pharmacists can explain why each one is best for you.
I have used Bloomfield in the past and when I stopped in, they still remembered me with the same friendly service and called me by name. The pharmacists went out of their way to explain the prescriptions and what the options were. It was not the typical chain store pharmacy experience.
I highly recommend stopping in again if you haven’t been there in a while. Totally great experience.

I want to move to Bloomfield just to use this pharmacy for myself. I deal with them for an uncle I care for who does live in Bloomfield. They are the kindest people who go out of their way to give you good information, service and help. As another review said, it's like a pharmacy from a past era. Personalized service and they truly bend over backwards to help you. If you are lucky enough to live near them, use them.

Five stars is NOT enough for this review. I live a few feet from this pharmacy and for the last three decades have raved about it. The personalities of all the staff members, especially in the pharmacy, is unbelievable. WOW... I have always been amazed by the kindness and compassion and patience, etc.

I definitely want to five higher than a ten stars rating to the head pharmacist Jim. He treats "everybody" with kindness and compassion. He truly cares about all of the customers in the pharmacy AND the store.

It does not matter if you are getting your RX filled the first time or have been a customer their for 30 years, he treats everybody like family. He never talks down to anybody. He fact, he literally comes from behind the pharmacy counter and stands next to you while he is talking to you.

He never talks down to anybody. You could be a homeless person, somebody with a learning disability, a neighbor, another physician, or somebody with multi PH.D degrees he respects everybody. In my 30 plus years in being a customer at his pharmacy, I probably talked to him less than 2 hours in total. But, his personality is very rememberable.

I am also amazed with many of the current and past cashiers and their kindness who are some of the nicest people in retail. Lately, a nice lady by the name of Terri has been assisting me as I checked out my items that I am purchasing. Terri greets everybody with a smile and a hello.

There other night, (Wednesday 12/6) another cashier was super nice. I wished that I remembered her name. I can't say enough about this place.

It is important to remember that this is a ma and pa pharmacy. It is NOT a chain store such as CVS, Rite Aide, Duane Reade, Walgreens, etc. I feel at chains stores employees are often robotic with their interactions with customers. Not always as there are also very nice employees at the chain stores. With the Bloomfield Pharmacy there is something different there, something that makes you feel 100% welcome.

SOME of the prices are a little higher than your chain stores, but very little higher. BUT, they do have many items for a dollar in a couple of their dollar sections.

I am just amazed with this pharmacy.

Feels like a warm and friendly small town drug store. No corporate vibe, just helpful people and pharmacy items, with a few little gift like items too.

Best pharmacy in town! My family has been using them for 30+ years! The pharmacists are always willing to help and very knowledgeable. Great welcoming staff.

I left CVS, RITE AID, WALGREENS AND HIEBERS PHARMACY to become a permanent customer of the BLOOMFIELD DRUGSTORE. They remind me of the old drugstores, of my youth. They are very personable, hands on, they deliver and they give the best service, I have ever had from a pharmacy, in these modern times. I highly recommend them, to everyone I know, and strangers too.

Knowledgeable and attentive staff when it comes to scripts. Their printer/copier/scanner is also Bloomfield's best kept secret for those of us without one. Just plug in a USB with a PDF of your document and you're good to go!

Jim is the best pharmacist of all time. They offer free delivery and house charge accounts. They call when autorefills are ready. The best local pharmacy.

Drug store has a wonderful, knowledgeable staff led by Jim Koll, head pharmacist, Cindy, Barb, Donna and the rest of the employees. A definite find, forget large chain stores.

I have to say so long...farwell... alvvtizane goodabye...blame purepac!! their drugs might be placebos..i thought they were roches cause of the r on the pill..many other forums have terrible reviews about them as well...*********but you are great and have a great staff

It was a small but nice store I like the idea that it isn't a big chain store. The price for what I had to get was also cheaper.

Friendly staff and quick service. Nice location to other shops along Liberty.

Jim really knows what he's doing and when he's not there you are$ still covered by a group of pharmaceutical team that are just good as Jim.
