Giant Eagle Supermarket

I work here day after Christmas 2021 as the lot person getting buggies and scooters.

It's close to my house, so it's where I go to shop most of the time.the convenience is what I love. It's on the bus line. They have majority of the things I need. There were a few items that I had to go to another Giant Eagle because they didn't have certain items. It's says they have the option to curbside pick up ( no delivery) on the google but on the eagle app I can't figure out how to use it because it doesn't give me the option. There are days where I do go in and the line are very backed up due to possibly not enough staff, but I catch the bus so the timing of the lines and the time my bus comes go together perfectly. Other times the lines move okay. There are a mixture of ages that work the lines so with the older workers, it just makes sense to have patience although I personally think they're good at their job, I get in the line and get out without issues. Everytime I ask for double bags, the cashier does a good job with helping me with that. There was two different times by cashier's who were either distracted by the conversation they were having or the emotions were not in a good place to where my things got bagged in a way that bothered me, my bread were bagged with raw meat and the other time, my eggs were bagged with chemicals. But besides those two situations there were no other issues.The cashier's are friendly. There's a bus stop shelter when you leave out the store, they also have jitneys, the drivers are very kind people. When I take my little one to the bathroom, the bathroom don't smell bad, there's sometimes pee and backed up toilets but one time it was really bad and they had someone in there as soon as possible.

The lines wasn't really that long. And someone in line looked out for me and pointed out that I could go to Customer Service instead of waiting long. So I paid for my bus pass and got my toilet paper in a very timely fashion. I was grateful for the politeness. We need more community build up like this.

My favorite Giant Eagle. They have everything you'd expect. I'm a guy so i basically just cook pasta. They have a pretty wide selection of sauces and pasta, they even sell refrigerated fresh ones!!!! Staff is always great, especially the Australian lady, shes one of my favorite people!!!!!

Lovely place to shop. We were visiting from Las Vegas and found everything we needed and wanted. The store was very spacious and very clean. The deli staff was great. Plenty of parking and there was even a gas station right on site.

They are the best grocery store ❤‼

I use this site for pharmaceutical refills- nice professional staff.
The grocery aspect is the same. Nice wide aisles. Plenty of products available EXCEPT PEANUT BUTTER. The shelves were blown out.

Very clean restrooms is very clean and when you walk in you smell all the beautiful flowers and bouquets that they have at a very good price

On Thursday, 02-03-2022, Mr. Isiah, former employee and now elderly customer developed a health issue while passing thru express checkout line. Penn Hills EMT' responded; however, it was quick thinking on the part of mgr., staff & customers that helped Mr. Isiah feel comfortable until EMT's arrived.

I love GIANT EAGLES. BUT, THIS one is not going to have the CITIZENS BANK after the first of the year....... No more one on one, (bank tellers)...BUT, ATM's will be there...

Ove giant eagle bit there is never a non busy moment here! Always busy. But now they have developed many ways to pay to try to minimize wait time in lines. One of the cleanest giant eagles. So many selections as well as ethnic options as well. Hot foods is always good except close to closing time(expected) . You can rent movies. The customer service is full service with a dry cleaner. Lottery machines, daycare for shoppers. Drive thru pharmacy. I am convinced there is literally nothing you cannot find here. It's like a one stop shop!

Great store. Friendly staff. A little pricey but I can always find everything I need easy. Aldi has better prices on some items.

I always have a nice experience there. They still have it pretty well stocked despite the shipping issues

It's a smaller Giant Eagle and you can get in and get out. Sometimes the checking out is a little slow but outside it very convenient and they have alot of the regular items the G.E. have not any special shops in this one it's just a good-ol grocery store!

It is a smaller store. I love the deli. Everyone is always so nice.
