One of the cleanest dollar generals I’ve been to and the manager was extremely polite

The Dollar General on Frankstown Rd have VERY nice employees! The person working today, (he )was stocking shelves, helping the cashier when the line got long and helping customers ( including me!)find certain items. I know he doesn't know I was watching and listening but I watched him stop stocking the shelves to help a customer check out. This customer was very rude to him for NO reason. The male employee never lost his temper, even treating the man with respect. Finished ringing him out and started stocking again. I'm not sure of the employee's name but..Dollar general frankstown Rd location!! Pay attention! You have a wonderful employee! Treat him good! Show him this review and let him know someone was watching! And give him a raise! Or at least a paid day off! He deserves it!

It's dependable and always stocked. The clerk's are very friendly and helpful. Store is clean other then the occasional empty bags found when someone successfully steals something's and ditches the evidence.

Haven't been to this location in over a year and it was so nice to see the changes. Nicely organized and the cashier working was really pleasant. She helped me, without hesitation, find the special Chapstick that I was looking for.

Amazing! This is my new favorite DG in the Pittsburgh area. The staff were friendly and polite, the store is clean and much neater than most. I will be back!

Dollar general is conveniently located in most of the less affluent neighborhood where people don't have a lot of money their prices are really reasonable and items that are so there to make life a little bit comfortable for the less fortunate people their service is always good your location is right in the art of the poor community and for that we give them on the fly

It's always clean and they always have everything you need I recommend hardly the service and the workers are very very polite and will help you with anything you need

My go to grocery store. Staff works hard to keep items stocked when they can. They got most of what we need

Always enjoy coming here to do small shopping but it would be GREAT if they PAID their employees better wages.
