Giant Eagle Supermarket

Thanks to the night shift cashier at Giant Eagle Supermarket. I had difficult time at the self check out machine. He came to help me get through quickly.

Giant Eagle always comes through for my shopping needs. Fresh produce, meats , seafood, bakery goods, prepared food items , a variety of staples for the kitchen, merchandise for the household, and more.

I lived across the street 20years ago with a college-girlfriend And I returned to this GE for the first time last Sunday. I was impressed to see that this quite small shop is still vibrant, well-kept, clean, and also... was very pleased to see armed security there also. (not pleased that society has degraded to require this, but pleased that the business is thoughtful of such.)

The customer service was fantastic!! Helped me find powdered hot chocolate. Alas I could not find tofurkey so perhaps the signage could be improved but this is possibly an issue across all Giant Eagles rather than this single location. Easy to get to by bus.

Good super market. You can get the essentials, and they have plenty self check out. The parking lot is big and spacious. It does get busy at times, but never as busy as market place giant eagle. Make sure to get their membership, their pharmacy has a discount program that makes meds very affordable to the locals.

I needed a few thing's so this Market District Giant Eagle happened to be the closest store at the time. The store is very clean is the first thing I noticed, and the number of employees that are working in and around the store makes it easier for me to maneuver, because I've never really did grocery shopping there.

This store is small but mighty. They do the best they can with the tiny space that they have. You cannot compare this store to more bedazzling the more modern Giant Eagle stores, but know that it is a great small city supermarket that caters to a lot of neighborhood walking traffic. As a former Murray Avenue store worker, I know how long and hard the staff works each day. Thank you, Squirrel Hill Giant Eagle team for your front line service during the pandemic and always.

This is one of my favorites giant eagle’s in the city of Pittsburgh. I love the cozy feel and yet large selection of specialty groceries. There is ample parking behind the store so don’t be deterred if you think there is no parking when you drive past. Definitely come in and check it out.

Some of the most friendly, hardworking folks can be found at this store. And all during the pandemic, they continue to provide top notch service. They deserve to be noticed and applauded for these strenuous efforts. Bravo!

This store doesn't carry bulk size or 10lbs bags of potatoes because most of the customers are walkers. Also this is a kosher store.

Modern world convenience meets corner shop.

The location is a small urban location so you can't always get everything that a larger location may have. That being said, this is a great store. The bakery is kosher that caters to the large Jewish population of Squirrel Hill. Most of the staff has been there for years and they are fantastic. It is a clean store with plenty of parking.

This store is one of the smaller giant eagles. However, the produce section is the best among all giant eagles I have visited. Everything is fresh and does not go to waste once you have bought it. Comparing to Giant Eagle in Shadyside Market District which I also frequent regularly, this one is a lot better for shopping all the daily essentials. Service could be a bit better.

They had everything I was looking for on my list. Checking out was fast and easy. The employee in the self-checkout was very helpful.

Very nice grocery store in the heart of Squirrel Hill on Murray Ave near Beacon St with parking lot. Store includes Kosher bakery. Store stocks many items for a smaller store. Checkout persons friendly and helpful in my experience shopping there twice. Two and a half blocks from Forbes Ave on Murray Ave. Easy walking to and from Forbes Ave, mostly level walking surface.

This is a tiny store but is really well stocked. My only issue is with canned kitten food. I couldn't find any at all. Otherwise it's a great little store....especially if you're looking for kosher food.....this is the place

Reasonable prices and good deals.

Ive never been to a Giant Eagle here in Pennsylvania so I was shocked to see that you can get whole meals in a container for cheap, I also loved that you guys had Sarris chocolate items there!

This market have good stuffs and I like to shop here. All you need are in here

Can anybody tell me whether its the same store? Help. This was taken by my grandfather in 1958.
