Magnolia's on Stinson were the first apartments I ever rented. May I just say Tobi was so amazing throughout my time living here. I was in the newly remodeled building. They looked exactly like the pictures. Great location. Rent at the time was such a good deal. Everyone respected each other. Whatever issues you would run into (nothing ever major, just minor) Tobi would address right away. Personally, I never had any major issues. Things were always handled in a timely manner. Tobi was always very good about sending emails regarding any events/changes/updates on time. If my career didn't take me to a different state, I would have stayed there, no problem.
Thank you Tobi for everything you did to make my time there so awesome and thank you for all you do!

Tobi, the office manager, was exceedingly helpful in the process of getting into the apartment. I loved working with her and enjoy stopping by her office just to say "hi!" The wait for an available unit was more than worth it! I've been in my unit for about 4 months and I absolutely love it! The neighbors are very friendly and respectful and the grounds are always very well-maintained. The unit feels brand-new and furnished with high-end appliances and fixtures. I work in Gig Harbor and was glad to find an apartment in Gig Harbor and am able to avoid having to commute across the bridge - the higher cost for the unit is more than offset by the savings of not having to pay bridge tolls and gas. I'd DEFINITELY recommend The Magnolias on Stinson!

My wife and I lived here for over a year and we’ve loved these apartments. The manager Tobi, is so kind and manages the apartment complex very well! The location is prime and the units are very nice inside and out. If we need another apartment in gig harbor in the future, The Magnolias on Stinson will be my first call

Thank you to Tobi, the wonderful apartment manager at The Magnolias on Stinson. Even before I ever met Tobi, I called her from California and she answered every question. She was kind and helpful. Tobi always responds back promptly by emails and phone calls. Every time I go into the office she smiles and greets me by name. We are lucky to have her.

Stinson Park Apartments is such a nice location and well managed complex. The complex is a little older, but they have been refinishing the whole place and makes the price amazing. They are very helpful and want to make sure you are more of a neighbor rather then a renter. The Apartments are are really nice and very clean (our's has brand new carpets that they are working to but in all apartments) and the ground management system is on top of helping every need you might ever had.

One was that our dish washer was acting a little different (still worked, just seemed different and I mentioned it to the management and they got in the next day to work on it and get it back to perfect!). When I moved in they actually requested that I inform them of anything so they can get to it faster and make sure that you always have it working rather then waiting for it to break and then calling.

The location is also wonderful for everything in Gig Harbor. It's walking distance to almost all actives (such as downtown Gig Harbor where to public doc is) along with very short distance to Elementary schools and a High schools and then it is under 5 minute drive to Costco, Safeway, Fredmeyers, or The movie theater!

If you were debating because if this a good apartment complex to go into, I highly recommend is as everyone is friendly and is very about keeping everything safe and healthy for all members (As they do not allow smoking on site what so ever, which means no pot heads or bad smells)

This apartment complex is wonderful! The manager (Tara) made our move in quick and easy. The rent is very reasonable espeically for the location. The apartment is very cozy and spacious. The patio is also large. The neighbors are kind and quiet after 10pm.
We are love it here!! Would recomend!!

Tara is the absolute best property manager ever! She keeps the property clean, quiet, and family friendly! Repairs are dealt with in a timely fashion by extremely professional and kind maintenance guys. I love living here in this awesome little community!

Great beginner apartment! Had to find an apartment in 2 weeks and this was it. Very quiet place and clean landscape with helpful new manager. Just a standard simple apartment nothing luxurious but comfy.

Renting a place can be difficult and having Tobi the manager be so helpful and kind through the process was exactly what I needed. She always text me back or would spend time on the phone answering any and all questions.

Really quiet here. great manager handles issues professionally and quickly. Been here a year now. Hate that we are having to move but need to get closer to husbands job.

I lived here for a year and no real big issues. Management was decent. The maintenance guy is top notch. The grounds are kept up nicely. Neighbors kept to themselves. During the week it's quite. There is a playground and a basketball court that can be used.
A few cons though. There was a definite issue with black ants. I used the wick spray air fresher from the dollar tree and it kills on contact. There is only one trash compactor. After a busy weekend it fills up fast and during the summer it starts to smell bad. Parking after 7pm is tricky as all the spaces tend to fill fast. Another issue was the mold in the bathrooms tends to gather (orange-ish color) on the ceiling of the bathroom. Took me some time to clean it up before I left. All in all not that bad of a place to live. To the guy with the jeep I remember that incident.

Basic apt is fine, nothing fancy, but relatively clean. It is a smoking facility which means that using your balcony could be an issue if you are situated among smokers. I have health issues and am unable to use my balcony due to heavy smokers beneath my apartment. Management needs to take a be nice course. Maintenance man is excellent - responsive and nice. If you rent a carport, beware of hidden commitments that are not in writing. I rented carport for winter months, and when spring came I was told that the carport was part of the apt therefore I had to continue renting it. Of course, nothing in writing so I was able to cease, but had to go through hoops. Would not recommend to anyone.

**We are current residents here and we enjoy the complex, and the fact that it is a No Smoking property. It is an old building but with that taken into perspective, you can get over the occasional floor creek. Our kids love it here as well! We enjoy walking down Cushman Trail and to the Skate Park, almost everything is within walking distance. Management is easy to work with and so far everything has been great.

Only been in one apartment so it may be biased. The manager won't fix/replace their dishwasher and it just is a small, old apartment complex. There isn't a light in the living room what is up with that!?

I had a very bad experience with the office manager, Tobi. She was very unhelpful, rude and condescending. She was unprofessional and made me feel like I was a burden. She never answered the phone, does not return voicemails or emails. She made my application process very difficult and unpleasant. The apartments are nicely remodeled, however, management needs major improvement.

This apartment is not the best. The current manager as of 4/15/2015 Amanda Riegel, is a bitter bully. She has approached me in the parking lot yelling in front of other residents in the community stating that I was driving too fast in the parking lot. When I approached her about what I felt was inappropriate she became very rude stating report it here is the number, but it wont do you any good because the maintenance man saw it too. Never heard a response from Dobler management regarding my complaint. I have lived in this apartment since 2012 and have had my Black Jeep Grand Cherokee since moving in. Now because I have purchased a new vehicle and have been parking the jeep out in the overflow parking area, I did not put my renewal sticker on the jeep and am being threatened to have my Jeep towed from the property with less then two days notice. They also put a large green sticker on the back window of my jeep which must have superglue on it because it does not come off very easily. The notice was provided by a notice to every tenant in the complex in a letter that was placed on every door. States, "Living in a community is all about respecting your neighbors and trying to not cause any additional concerns for them. If you have a complaint due to anything please bring it to the attention of myself, so that I may do what I can to correct it. Also, there are two vehicles on property that are to be towed on Friday, the 17th, if their issues are not corrected. There is a black Jeep Grand Cherokee near the basketball court with expired tags, which is in violation of our policies." I do not see how it is being respectful of the manager to black list someone instead of looking at the leases and directing such a statement to the specific resident and not the whole community. This is the third manager that has been here since I have lived here and is by far the worst. She is very rude and does not have any ability to be civil with people and should definitely not be attempting to run a community. She has also threatened all of the community in her previous door taped letters about converting the community laundry facilities into pay facilities. As for the maintenance, well when I moved in to this apartment in 2012 there was a rotted fence board that separates the deck between my apartment and my neighbor and I asked that they repair the board as it has been laying on the deck. To date it is still laying there and I have asked multiple times for it to be repaired and one of the times the maintenance guy told me that it is on special order. How is a cedar fence board that can be purchased from the local Home Depot for less than $3.00 and then painted and replaced need to be special ordered. And what some of the other reviewers complained about ants, well they are all over and I believe that they have their nests in the walls because they come in year round. There are also lots of condensation issues due to the older building and single pane windows that don't drain properly. Screens that don't fit windows, Sliding screen doors that obviously were not made and don't work properly. Had issues with the plumbing asked the maintenance guy to fix leaky faucet in the kitchen and his solution is to tighten the fixture so tight that you can hardly move it. Bathroom faucet hot water has no adjustment, it was either off or on full blast, he did not see an issue with this. I suppose either use the hot water full blast or not at all. I could go on and on, but it would take hours to address all the issues with this apartment.
