I’ve been to the other locations and this felt like the more chill spot. Not too crowded and has everything you need from a grocery store.

I ordered their version of a “caveman coffee” or their “Activated Coffee” and it was delicious. Perfect flavor and temperature with just the right amount of pick me up.

I’d definitely come back here again and shop their grocery items.

Newly opened supermarket in Pasadena on Lake Ave. Very fancy place although everything seems a little more pricier and anywhere else. There're staff constantly tidying up the merchandises and dusting the shelves. Impressive! Worth to come here for the service and cleanliness.

This is a nice upscale organic market with a friendly staff and top notch quality! Prices are on the medium to high side but be sure to take advantage of any promotions that they offer both in-store and in-app. Also easy ordering ahead for pickup to avoid the lines! The Strawberry Skin Smoothie by Hailey Bieber is an Erewhon right of passage and is very delicious to sip while shopping! Parking is inside the Macy's garage on Lake.

Erewhon has been around since the 1960s selling healthy groceries at a steep price. However, this location only opened last September. It took over the long-abandoned Borders, now bankrupt. Now? I guess the citizens of Pasadena won't have books to read, but they will have more food to buy.

They have a lot of stuff, including an impressive sushi and poke selection. I've only tried their keto desserts, though. As far as my tongue tells me: powdered Glonuts tasted like coconut, store name brownie was a bit too salty for my liking, Giselle's Vegan Kitchen's brownie indulgent and creamy, and the Butter Baked Co. vanilla bean cupcakes were delicious. There are also numerous products for paleo and other diets. Overall, I am truly surprised that Erewhon has so many dessert options.

I'd love to try more next time!

This was an experience. I don’t live in the area but have been a fan for a long time so I knew what to expect price wise. Every person working there was extremely nice and chatty. I even told them I was just passing through on a road trip still they were kind and considerate and took their time showing me where everything I was looking for was. Ordered a smoothie and it came out super quick. I would shop here every week I lived closer. Everything tastes amazing! Even my 14 year old said the erewhon brand popcorn was the best she ever tasted. Going here is the ultimate self care ♥

The bagels and shakes not as good as the Studio City Erewhon and I got butter instead of a cream cheese bagel. The staff seem a little slow and not too social in the shake area. The managers were nice tho. Need some customer service in the junior area and work on getting it as good as other Erewhon s. EDIT: much better now

Let me ask you a question- are you wondering “I have so much money, that I just cannot spend it fast enough?” Well I know just the place for you- it’s the new Erewhon in Pasadena. You want chicken tenders dusted in turmeric- they are amazing, and only $20 a pound. How about a $20 juice-they hsve you covered. What’s that? You say you need some of the most colorful and perfect produce ever- it will set you back an arm and a leg, including whatever jewelry you have on that appendage. But I love that food so I will continue to burn through my wallet on the freshest food in town.

Great store layout. However their food court and cafe were a little smaller than what I'm used to. The only complaint I have is the way one of their asian employees looked at me. I know i didn't come dressed up, however there is no need to look me up and down and make ugly faces at me. I paid for my purchases. I get better customer service at the Beverly hills location. From now on I will make the 1hr drive out to the westside. Same prices better service it's worth the drive.

I am delighted to have an Erewhon in my neighborhood. I frequently visit to savor the delectable offerings in the Prepared Foods & Deli. I hold a deep appreciation for the service provided by Bella, as she exemplifies top-tier service. Her warm and welcoming approach, combined with an extensive knowledge of the deli's offerings, elevates the dining experience to a five-star level. When served by her, one feels like they are dining at an upscale restaurant reminiscent of Osteria Mozza or Cassia. Bella is not just a server; she's a culinary guide who transforms every visit into an exceptional and memorable dining adventure.

Food is bland because it’s healthier. Price is expensive because the surrounding area of people can afford $17 smoothies.

Reminds me of a mini version of Bon Marche in Paris. Hopefully it can do well in the area because Pasadena has been missing a high end supermarket for quite some time.

This supermarket is expensive but the quality of the food is excellent, there is cooked food tobrake out or to eat outside. There is seating that has fire in the center, the atmosphere is pleasant. There is parking in the back.

To those who complained about price: what did you think? That you were walking into a Ralph's? Or Target? This is a high end market. It's like walking into the Bentley dealership and wondering why you can't find anything under $100k. Try finding some of the health and beauty products sold here at any other retailer in the area. Have you even heard of them? They carry top of the line products hard to find elsewhere. Take a moment to inspect the ingredients. There is a good reason they are priced higher than most places. Their smoothies are also bomb.

Very happy about this supermarket. It’s a high-end grocery store, that picks up where Whole Foods has given up ever since they’re Amazon. For example, I was looking for mayo made with no seed oils. Whole Foods didn’t have it, Erewhon, did!

Choked on a sushi here and they gave me a free plate. Thriving.
Jubilee at the smoothie bar is the best she recommended putting dragon fruit in Malibu mango and it damn near changed my life.

I love Erewhon and now I don’t have many excuses to leave Pasadena! This location is the biggest location in my opinion, so beautiful, and easy to navigate. I think since it’s so new, some of the food hasn’t been as amazing as the other locations but I think this is just temporary. This place is expensive, but you are paying for quality, ingredients, sourcing, and access to really amazing food/healthcare products. Get the gf chaga brownie, the vegan gf seed bread and their vegan artisan bread - soooo good.

A great store with an upscale vibe to it. The prices are high but most of product not at other stores can be worth it. Overall the store is clean and the lines move quick even when they are busy.

I wanted to give a shoutout to the worker there that goes by David S. He helped me find a huge list of items in the store, made sure I found everything needed and even helped the cart out to my car! His customer service was A++ and is the reason I am giving this review 5 stars.

Now that the crowd has died down, this market is great. It only looks busy in the fresh food section since that’s what a large chunk people go for. There is no crowd when shopping for groceries anymore.

Beautiful store with great selection of healthy foods and enjoyable outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly. Not for people who are price-consciense

Love love Erewhon so much. I'm extremely grateful that this one just opened today in Pasadena! What a dream come true! They have the Best quality produce & foods. They have hot foods to go, cold foods to go, soups, house juices & wellness shots, homemade desserts & an awesome tonic bar serving hot drinks, cold drinks, smoothies, bakery items, acai bowls, etc. my favorite treat is the hailey beiber smoothie.. 😋 😍 I have yet to try other smoothies lol

I love the chia seed overnight oats, coconut milk arroz con leche, vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to name a few.

Prices are sitting in the mid-high price range but you seriously get what you pay for. I adore healthy whole foods and Erewhon will always have a place in my heart and a reserve in my wallet 💓

My grandson and I love the mac n cheese...My daughter and I love getting fresh produce.
