What an amazing place for picnic. Unfortunately we went in off season so all water based play and swimming were closed, but the park has lot of picnic tables and trees to sit and enjoy with family and friends. They also have provisions for pit fire and barbecue. Playground was good too. Though it was hot today, but there was always a small breeze of cold air making our visit pleasant. Restrooms were clean too. Definitely a potential place if you are planning to have a large gathering.

Crowded but if you go away from the beach area you get your privacy if you want one.
It has a splash pad for kids under 52 inches for $2. Nice place to spend time with family.

This place is so beautiful! There is a small area for swimming, but it was really busy. I wish there were more spots to just relax and to put your feet in the water that wasn’t crowded. There’s tons of space to have picnics and gatherings. I was really impressed with the amount of space this place has to offer, and the water is beautiful.

Such a fun experience!! Always try to make the faire every year and every year I have an amazing time. Remember to bring CASH! Almost all of the food and drink stands take cash only and ATM lines are always long. Food and drink is a bit pricey, but it's worth it to walk around the grounds with a cold beer and turkey leg in hand. So many great free shows, just remember to tip the performers! Dressing up makes the experience so much more fun too!

Nice area to see San Gabriel river and the mountains to the North. Plenty of parking and the bicycle trail is not too crowded. Mostly flat so a good place to hike long miles for distance.

Clean, safe area to bike. You get a good view if you get on the elevated bike path. Probably the best view in azuza that is not on the mountains. The park has a lake with beautiful birds. The grass is well maintained and the Canadian geese.

This is a great park to hang out, the view of the lake is really beautiful to look at. I get a sense of peacefulness and a relaxed feeling when I come here. There are numerous activities you can enjoy doing, the trails are nice, they are surrounded by all types of flowers and plants, the park also has an area where you can exercise. I love the beach area as well although it is open only during the summer season it is worth waiting for. I definitely recommend this park to anybody looking to spend the day at a park, you will be happy you did.😁

Absolutely magical and peaceful place to spend time in ❤ it's enchanting and lovely. There are plenty of cute spots to sit it with a pal or group. Most of the weekends, I used to go over there with my family...! There’se a beautiful lake, lots of beautiful trees casting cool shades to chill under. There's fishing, pedal boats, and family bikes, BBQ areas. Find a table and sit for a snack, a read, or just admire the greenery. has some good picture-spots, especially if you go at the sunset time starts...! We took our pre-wedding photos over there..!
NB: There is a plenty of car parking facility...!
I love this this hidden gem...! ❤

The Renaissance Fair was quite an event. My first experience & I was pleasantly surprised!
From huge Turkey legs, Fish & Chips, BBQ galore, over stuffed Baked Potatoes and deserts, fresh beverages to die for. We enjoyed Lord's & Ladies jousting, dancing & selling beautiful garments, hats from the period. Smiling faces, emersed in their characters coerced us to try the Bow & Arrow challenge. A beautiful day of fun & laughter

Great place to go have a picnic or walk around the lake (approximately 2miles) water doesn't smell but it's nasty green due to duck feces. It has a small stream coming I from the north side of the park. A lot of nature to love in this recreational area. Multiple bathrooms and multiple playgrounds for the kids. Just be aware that on the weekends the park might get full and will close the park. A few tips, walking in or on bicycle is free. There is a bike trail as well that takes you along the 605 freeway. The park it self is massive. There are multiple parking lots as well that do not hold too many vehicles. Another thing that park has two entrances, one on Peckhand Road by the Miller brewery. The second entrance is from Arrow Highway which is the main entrance to the park. The entry fee is $12 per vehicle. The lake is also stocked with various types of fish, and it has multiple fishing areas, as well as a dock as you can see in my pictures from where you can fish. Overall, this recreation area is very nice and I would rate it 8/10 if it wasn’t for all the duck feces in the water.

Lovely time at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. The sights are intriguing. Don't miss the Moonie show, the jousting and the dirty laundry show. Good times and wares.
